Rat extermination

"So your party approaches the bounty board where a couple jobs are listed such as Hobgoblin extermination:level 10, bandits:level 5, and rats:level 1"S

"So you chose to exterminate the Rats in old Ms. Wells basement who happens to live just down the street"S

And so the party ventures toward the residence where a kindly older lady greets them though she is looking pretty good for her age. She tells them about the rat problem to which go around the house into the basement doors. Inside waiting are about 20 rats and 2 giant rats.

(Rats 18,17,16,11,9,8,7,5, and 3 fail the constitution saves and end up as splatters on the basement walls) (Rats 15,14,13,12,10,6,4,2,1 and the 2 giant rats make the save causing them to take 5 damage each)

It does 12 dmg with +3 for rage resulting in 15 damge (Giant rat 2's Health 30/50)

"Just then a rumbling comes through the wall as another 10 rats plus a brood rat join in."S

It hits resulting in 16 dmg to Giant rat 1 (Giant Rat 1's health 14/50)

"okay for my turn I will Hellish rebuke the brood rat and I got a nat 20 so I will also eldritch bast one of the rats"A

"I will uh sacred flame another rat or... no I will not cause I rolled a 3"P

"I think I will Thunderwave again then run for cover with a 15 roll"

It instantly kills all the ones that survived the 1st one as well as 7 of the 10 new rats that showed up with the brood rat. Giant Rat 1 takes full 14 dmg but Giant rat 2 and Brood rat take 7.

then after a combined effort Linda kills off Giant Rat 3 (Linda Exp 35/120)

"Okay so after much fighting you have eliminated all the rats and headed upstairs to Ms. Wells who just came back from the market though it seems as though she hurt herself as she was rubbing her leg and it must have been hot with the sweat dripping off her"

Each player gains 30 Exp and 10 gold 5 silver for the job resulting in

"As you start to leave Cynthia notices that Ms. Wells has some good money so would you like to use your phantom thief skill?"S
