Rachel-her brother's blue eyes (finalized)

I was quietly eating dinner at the table, like every night, but I felt a strange feeling, and it wasn't like when I forgot my keys. It told me in my gut that something bad was happening.

I looked around, trying to find the source of this unease. To my right was my mother, Elizabeth, eating peacefully, without showing any sign of concern.

Then I turned to my left to see my younger brother, Mike, 19, with my friends, Alicia, 20, and Veronica, 21. The three of them were so affectionate, amidst long kisses and increasingly intense caresses, that they couldn't even see their dinner.

"Mmm... oh, Mike... ahhh"

"Yes... ayy... yes, Mike... oooh"

While Mike eagerly licked Alicia's neck, his hand wandered inside Veronica's blouse as she rubbed her breasts, size 100, closer and closer to him.

Well, everything's normal in this house. No matter how much I looked around, I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Frustrated, I thought maybe it was just a figment of my imagination. But that feeling remained, like a gnawing itch on the back of my neck, alerting me that something of vital importance was happening.

"YESSS... ahhhh... hmmm... you're doing great, Mike"

And to top it all off, my friends' loud moans didn't help me focus on anything.

"Cough... hey, girls, can you stop for a second?" I said, trying to stop their heated encounter.

But neither she nor my brother paid any attention to me. They continued on their own, completely unaware of my presence, which irritated me greatly.

"Hey, girls, stop it!" I exclaimed, banging the table loudly.

This time, everyone there listened to me. Even my mother turned to me, a little scared. Alicia and Veronica looked at me in surprise, as if they'd remembered where they were.

The strangest thing was that Mike seemed completely calm, looking at me with those strange, bright blue eyes. There was something about those eyes that always made me uncomfortable. I felt like he was seeing into my mind.

Despite being a total, harmless geek, with his head always buried in sci-fi and fantasy junk for the past two months, his gaze created a strange unease in me, and the tingling in my neck never felt worse.

"Is something wrong, Raquel?" my mother asked, slightly concerned.

That pulled me out of my thoughts about my brother, and still angry, I turned to her.

"Something, Mom? Look at them," I said irritably, pointing at Mike and the girls. "Can't they just stop what they're doing and eat?"

Alicia and Veronica looked at each other and laughed softly, taking my words as a simple joke. For her part, my mother didn't share my concern at all, joining in with my friends' laughter.

"Hehehehe...oh honey, I don't know what you're complaining about. They're young, it's very normal to have a big appetite...hehehehe," said Elizabeth, lightening things up.

I was surprised by her words. My mother was always very strict about sex and was always lecturing us about bringing boys or girls home.

"Oof...sorry, Rachel, I think we let ourselves go," said Alicia sarcastically.

"Yeah...we're actually really hungry and couldn't hold it in any longer," Veronica spoke now, still resting her breasts on Mike's.

"Grr...it's probably me," she squealed.

Her comments only made me more irritated, so I stood up, almost raising my voice at her brashness, when my mother intervened.

"Rachel, calm down, they're just joking. Daughter, you don't have to be so hard on them. After all, they've been your friends since kindergarten. They spend so much time here that they're almost part of the family. And besides, the girls helped with dinner," she said calmly, as if she hadn't actually heard my friends' words.

"Uh... fine."

My mother was right. I've known Alicia and Veronica for years. They're the closest thing I've ever been to sisters, and we've been inseparable, sharing tons of memories together... well, at least that was the case until two months ago.

Thinking about that calmed me down a little, and I sat back down, but my calm didn't last long because that incessant itch on my neck quickly returned, alerting me to something I still couldn't quite place.

"Ding-dong!"

The doorbell snapped me out of my unease. I looked over at Mike, who was now receiving food from the girls directly into his mouth in a scene worthy of a sultan.

"Ding-dong!"

"Daughter, can you answer the door?" my mother said.

I thought about protesting, but a stern look from my mother made me resignedly move toward the door.
