Quiet and Empty

After gathering what little belongings you had you made your way to your dorm the forest was made up of great tall evergreens gently swaying in the wind. It was a small dorm compared to the others you had seen yet unlike the other there was no banners on the outside whereas the other dorms had banners of their houses. You took the keys you were given and slowly unlocked the door revealing a grand stone lobby filled comb webs and other signs of abandonment it seems no one had set food here in a while. After sneezing twice from the dust you chose the first room to your right and entered. The room thankfully was well maintained by the looks of it with no dust in sight. You wondered how things were going to be now that you were alone as normally First-year students like yourself we're all supposed to share one dorm to prevent inter-house hostility but here you were alone again just like always. Taking out your few belongings it was a simple blanket big enough to cover yourself with, some spare clothes to wear, a spare set of glasses and other basic necessities.

After getting settled into your new home you decided to lay down in bed to get some rest when you started to hear disembodied voices all around you, you woke up to a start only to hear the voices go silent. After standing up and walking around you made your way back to bed and fell asleep tired as could be.

The next morning you woke up and began getting ready for the day hopping into the shower to clean yourself up. After exiting the shower the wiped the mirror clean as it had fogged up while you were in the shower. When you looked in the mirror you saw a woman with long black hair standing behind you smiling. When you looked behind you there was no one at all just you. Looking back at your green and blue eyes you sighed another reason you were an outcast those damned eyes were mismatched and to make matters worse even then you still needed glasses. You put on black pants and shoes while putting on your white dress shirt and tie before putting on a black sweater over that making only your tie visible and after that you put on your glasses. Finally, you put on your metal skull pin over your heart before exiting the bathroom and exiting the dorm headed straight for the headmaster’s office.
