At the moment, you were the only one decent in a pair of pants, since Mirajane was still in her undergarments, and the loud thud quickly spooked her as she trembled behind the dress in her hands, trying to cover herself.

“Oh my god! Is it one of the guild members!? What’ll they say to the rest of the guild if they see us here like this!?” she said, mostly to herself, in a panic.

You gently grab a hold of her face with both hands and **** her to look you in the eyes as you calm her down.

“Mirajane, listen. I can’t explain it, but I know no one from this guild other than us is in here. Whoever’s here is most likely an enemy. I’m gonna try to sneak to the main hall and see what I can find,” you explain in a low voice. Mirajane’s trembling isn’t as serious now, and gives you an odd sense of relief that she’s less afraid of intruders than the possibility of getting caught red handed in the new guys pants. Mirajane nods in understanding, letting you go on ahead while she hurries up getting fully clothed.

You can smell the air from outside make its way in, as well as feel it on your chest since you didn’t have time to put on your shirt. After a hot shower (and even hotter action not long ago) the cold makes you give a small shiver. You start to regret not making enough time to put on a shirt, but the sounds in the main hall take priority now.

You make it to the main hall, which is empty. Other than the open doors, nothing’s immediately suspicious. Soon enough, your nose catches a small trace of explosive lacrima residue from above and descending fast. You jump backwards right as the cloaked figure from above lands, with a large hole on the floor where you were just a second ago, complements of a giant hammer slamming down.

The unidentified assailant pulls out the hammer from the floorboards and readies it for another swing as he charges right at you.
