While your primary style, Cosmic Dragon Slayer magic could easily end the attacker’s ****, Mirajane is still in the building and, due to past experiences with so-called “Dragon Slayers”, you’ve learned to exercise caution in those abilities, to the point of paranoia, even though Mirajane has given you no reason to distrust her.

You settle for one of your weaker fighting styles, which incorporates Requipping a pair of combat modified Gale-**** Glasses that allow you to analyze data in the middle of battle. From there, you analyze the opponents combat style, including its weaknesses, then strike back in the most efficient manner.

Thanks to those glasses, time all but seems to slow as the assailant swings his hammer at you only for you to dodge by simply ducking underneath. Anticipating such a motion, the figure pulls out a small curved dagger, but thanks to the analytical skills of your Gale-**** Glasses, you already predicted such a concealed weapon, right down to a hairline fracture near the base of the blade. With Marionette magic (or to be more accurate, the STRINGS used for Marionette magic) you were able to catch the dagger and slice the blade off the handle in one fluid motion as you brush past the charging figure.

The assailant loses control of his hammer’s momentum and you chose this moment to tug the thread you planted on his left foot, which is the only thing keeping him from falling. With barely a tug from your finger, the assailant falls face first. While he lies disoriented, you weave ten spiders out of magic on your fingertips, connected to your Marionette threads. Faster than the naked eye can catch, the spiders crawl, jump, and weave their way around the attacker until he is trapped inside a cocoon of magic thread. A light blow to the back of the neck takes care of the squirming. Nine of the spiders evaporate while the last one jumps into the palm of your hand, carrying a small suicide bomb lacrima similar to the one used earlier today by the mage fighting the metal-user from Fairy Tail.

You store your glasses away and with a small portion of Cosmic DS energy enveloping your hand, you crush the crystal bomb to dust. As you brush off the dust from your hand, you turn around to see Mirajane walking towards you, carefully observing the scene before her.

‘Crap, did she catch that just now?' you think to yourself bitterly. Even if it was for a second, you chastise yourself for pulling out your Dragon Slaying magic just to crush that crystal. No one you’ve met until now has ever responded well to your use of DS magic. You really liked Mirajane, and not just because of the sex, and if she reacted like others have to your magic you don't know how you'd respond to it.
