Quick meeting

”Welcome back, you two.” The red haired, boxum professor begins, “Welcome back to classes, welcome back to the semester.” She smiles warmly, Mrs Revers sitting on the edge of her desk between the two, “How was your time off gentleman? I trust that you were responsible boys and studied while enjoying yourselves?”

Marcus leans back, his arm resting on the chairs arm rest, “The best part was seeing your home, Miss.”

Erik glances sideways at other man in the room, before shifting his gaze to Mrs Revers, “Agreed, Mrs Revers.”

Mrs Revers rolls her eyes and leans back on her hands, looking between the two, “Flattery will not make me go easy on you now.” She chuckles, “Have you brought the assignments I handed you? I shall review them now.”

“And the one who does better?” Marcus asks, avoiding the side long glance from Erik. A slight fear runs through Erik, has Marcus come in a bit more competitive? He runs a finger over his own thumb somewhat nervously, sitting up straight to hear Mrs Revers answer.

“Of course. I suspect neither of you forgot about that aspect of out sessions did you?”

She looks Erik’s way as she says this, who promptly shakes his head in response, a small excited grin crossing his face. Marcus responds with a quip himself, “How could we?”

Mrs Revers holds out her hands, “Very well then. Hand me your assignments.”
