Questions on the mind
The sun had been up for a few hours by the time an exhausted Oliver dropped face first onto his bed. Still wearing last night’s clothes, his body aching from sleeping on the hard basement floor.
I flirted with the cute girl last night and instead of taking her home, I got trapped in a basement and spent the night cuddling with Simon.
Oliver groaned frustratedly, unsure of what to make of the previous evening. He recalled his thoughts from the night before, wishing that Simon had taken some kind of initiative. Simon’s flirting had never really bothered him, but it hadn’t ever made him weak in the knees before either.
He needed to talk about this with someone, but his leaden body insisted on at least a few hours rest in an actual bed. Oliver drifted to sleep, his mind a tumultuous storm of doubt and confusion.
