Questionable decisions...

Chapter 64 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

"You're certain this is the right thing to do? We could very well be doing exactly what we shouldn't for all we know, you realize that yea?"

Janette rolled her eyes, feeling the soft wind brush her hair as they stepped outside into the sunlight.

"Yes Reta. Hard not to when you keep repeating yourself like a broken record. Either way, I need to pass through the market for materials. I have a window in need of fixing, a wall that needs patching, and a few medications just in case. Plus a bit of food while we are at it." She added, glancing back at her cursed friend. "Of course, why worry about it if you're leaving once I am better anyways, correct?"

Reta grunted, turning her head sharply away from Janette's glare and crossing her human arms. "Kuso."

Shortly behind them, Felix exited the house holding KuliKuli by paw. A look of uncertainty was painted on him, there was no denying his feelings of the matter. She knew better then to assure him, she had felt exhausted just trying to convince all of them of what she had in mind earlier and by now was feeling drained.

He felt her pull, catching her eyes as she pulled him to her and wrapped her arms around his well toned chest, rubbing his scent on her. Looking up, she met his lips with hers and spoke softly to him in a comforting tone, "Trust me, my mate. You are all I desire for my life and future, now and forever."

He sighed, detecting a faint smell of his seed on her breath. "I love you."

This warmed her heart, it took quite the inner struggle to avoid tearing up at the moment. "I love you. Now go, and please be careful."

Slowly his fingers slipped one by one till they were parted, and even slower did the three of them walk down the trail until nature had hidden them beyond the forest. The soft sound of trees and grass singing to the gust of wind blowing gently kept her calm and confident. As soon as they stepped outside, she had felt him squeeze her paw. He caught their scent, as did she.

But they can't stop now, it was risky but she had proposed a move when they had none. Despite a brief argument, one by one she had won them over until only Felix remained alone vetoing the idea. Yet she insisted it was their best bet, and it was personal.

She was alone now, her friends were gone. To her surprise, it took nearly a minute before she was certain of it. Must have been patient to be sure they had gone away a far enough distance so as to not hear them. Turning around, KuliKuli came to face a familiar sight, a face with unknown history to her, an individual which held many answers regarding who Nityri is and KuliKuli was.

"So, you allowed us a chance to speak after all."

KuliKuli remained quiet, speechless really would describe it best. How do you approach a conversation with someone like this?

"I'm really happy to have found you again, Nityri." Na'Vi said with a genuine smile.
