So this is who I loved?
So many questions...
Both cat girls stood still, their eyes focused upon the other. Nature took no notice and carried on, the wind breezing through brushing past the tall grass and grazing their fur. Few birds could be heard away singing to the skies, beyond the woods the trail that her loved ones took sunk deeper till being hidden further onward. It was indeed a beautiful morning, and on any other circumstance she would be enjoying it happily, running through and exploring the beautiful gardens, yet here she is confronting her supposed lover.
So many questions...
Na'Vi took one step forward then another as she spoke, a genuine smile apparent on her face to contribute to her speech.
"I'm really happy to have found you again, Nityri. I've spent so many months since that night, the storm... everything was laid to waste. Nature was unkind to us that day, were it not for the guidance of the gods I might not have been so fortunate to have found your family too. We were all sick with worry for you, searching the eastern valley, journeying into the city grounds down south. The mountains up north, even near the castle grounds of that blood sucker. All that time searching, just for you."
Her feet stepped once more before halting, a soft gasp accompanying the Nekomata. Her tails twitched with excitement, Na'Vi felt it difficult to contain her joy when taking a closer look at her lover. She had long so dreamed of this day, and to be alive and feel it happen became so surreal, she worried any moment she would awaken from the most beautiful dream. Please let this be real...
"It was so hard... and the days only rewarded us with bigger problems. No longer were we only searching for you, but running away ourselves. I felt so bad, it was my fault after all. Emyri was adamant that I was not to blame, but I can't help it. When you lose someone you love with all your heart, it damn near felt like I lost the world."
KuliKuli remained silent, however it was clear by the twitch of her ear and the emotion showing through her that she was listening. This woman, this Nekomata can not be lying with how emotional she is being. You can really feel how regretful she feels, stuttering in her words, lip quivering and her tails wagging nervously. I'm the reason she is like this?
Na'Vi took notice of the scratches she had left on KuliKuli's arm, slicing into the fur and revealing fleshy skin underneath around the wound. It felt to painfail, too real as if unintentionally repeating her mistake again. No, not again, can't lose her again.
"I... I did that, and I am so sorry. If I knew it was you the other night, if I was calm and... and... oh my gosh, I'm horrible at this, so so horrible." Na'Vi managed to say before falling to her knees, tears rolling down her face. Quickly she covered her face, body shaking as her breathing became quick. "This is so bad, I've spent so much time practicing this and look at me. You must think so lowly of me, KuliKuli."
She wept silently, as silent as she could really, and gritted her teeth to keep from bawling. When suddenly, a familiar feeling comforted her and settled on her shoulder. Looking up she was met with the face of the most beautiful woman she ever fell for, the closest being to her heart, her best friend and hidden crush. KuliKuli still said nothing but pulled her in, wrapping her in a soft loving hug. Na'Vi blushed but squeezed her back, burying her face into her neck and inhaling her scent, that fruity smell she missed so much. KuliKuli took notice before imitating her action, sniffing in her scent as well.
"I'm sorry, I tried this time I really did. He just, he felt like he had something to prove and it turned me off in a way."
KuliKuli giggled, looking up to catch her friend chuckle back. "You have a problem ViVi, you are being too picky. One of these days you will run out of options with no man to fertilize you, to gift your belly with children. Then what will you do?"
"I'll figure it out when the day comes, what about you? Speaking like you've been through it all, I don't see you settling with a male. Maybe you seek an interest somewhere else, hmm?" Na'Vi teased with a wink and a kiss in the air.
KuliKuli scoffed and turned away, concealing her blush. "ViVi! Mother might hear you, not when they are around I told you!"
"Oh shut up, like she is so innocent. I've seen her stare at my butt before you know?"
KuliKuli responded with the cock of her head and a stare.
"Doing what?"
"Huh?"
"What were you doing when she did that?"
Now it was her turn to blink and turn away. "J-Just stretching."
"Right, you were showing off weren't you? Bending down with your legs spread and your tails up high, perfect for mating position!"
"Your mother said the same thing haha!"
"Slut!" She giggled, pushing her friend away.
"Like mother like daughter hehe!" She cooed, scooting closer to her.
"Why do you tease her anyway, you know it's cruel."
Na'Vi smiled. "Because she looks a lot like you, an older you."
"Oh so when she stares at your butt you imagine it's me then?"
Na'Vi flashed her teeth in a cute smile. "Maybe."
KuliKuli pulled back, eyes wide open as Na'Vi wiped her tears away. That never happened before with Master... did I really sound like that? That was me, that was us, that was real.
"Na'Vi?"
Her eyes went wide open with shock and awe. "That's the first time you spoke my name."
She scooting up to her knees, looking at her friend with hopeful eyes. "Do you remember me now?"
"I... No, but... it's too much. I don't know, so many questions."
Na'Vi stood up, her face renewed with hope.
"Alright... shoot."
