The next morning, Kai spent almost an hour planning his next course of action.

1. Give Vanessa a quest to level up

2. Give Luke a quest to use his skin care

3. Purchase another target slot and add Jack, the college’s **** dealer

4. Make Jack believe that the Quest Master (me) is on his side

5. Proffit!

Of course, there was a lot of nuance in these five simple bullet points, and he would have to make some changes depending on how things developed, but the general goal was still the same.

So, he rapidly got himself to work.

Quest: Friendly slut neighbour.

Kai clicked the confirm button without any pop up interrupting him, which was a great sign to be honest, it meant that he would soon have his level up.

Kai was still hesitant on what to give as a reward, he knew Luke wouldn’t be easily swayed, and he probably wasn’t inclined to get a random reward after what happened yesterday. On top of that, he couldn’t really reward that much money either.

Eventually, he found a perk that would probably do the trick.

Kai clicked the confirm button and sat down on his desk, preparing all the fake accounts he would need for the next step in his plans.

"What a fast whore!!!" Kai smiled and purchased the additional slot, frowning slightly as he saw that that fourth slot would cost 2 points instead of one, but slightly relieved when another option became available.

Catch and release: You can release a target, making their slot vacant again. Released targets can be claimed by any Quest master, including the one that released them. Each slot has an independent one week cooldown. [2 PP]

It was expensive, but also fairly interesting. Instead of taking more and more slots, he could just level someone up enough to make some tests and gain some XP, and then release them and start all over with another target.

“I might give it a look in the future, but now I already have things to do, and I’m more intrigued by the class system.”

With that done, he rapidly added Jack to his new target slot and checked his profile.

“Yup! That checks out…” Kai chuckled as he started to write the quest, trying to make it interesting, as well as showing himself as an allied ****.

Quest: “Entertainment” distribution.

Description: Sell **** in the park until lunchtime.

Reward: Double the money earned from each sale.

Kai knew a couple of things about Jack, he operated on the campus, the park, and the couple of neighbourhoods between them, so the quest wasn’t forcing him out of his territory.

On the other hand, Jack was, surprisingly, religious, or at least his family was, that meant that he had a habit of not doing much on Sundays. Just attend the morning mass with them, and then either clean his house or leisurely enjoy his day.

However, Kai was sure that an incentive as good as double profits, as well as the slight mind control of the app would be enough to make him work.

Sure enough, the notifications started flowing in during the morning.

Kai smiled and sat down to eat his lunch, being interrupted midway through by a pleasant delivery.

Normally, he wouldn’t receive a package the same day he bought it, but paying almost a three times premium could make almost everyone work on weekends.

Kai smiled and closed the messenger app, preparing the second round of quests for the day.

Quest: Public stretching.

Description: Go to the park without underwear and stretch for an hour.

Description: Go to Kai’s house and accept his proposal.

Reward: + 25 affinity with Kai.

Kai wanted to push Luke a bit further, maybe offer him a perk like Good boy I, or evolve his Cuddleplush into Human plushie I but he also knew that his friend’s tolerance was already stretched as much as it could be, and 25 affinity points were an incredibly good setup for whatever quest he might chose to give him tonight.

That only left his new “friend” Jack, to deal with. With a devilish grin, he opened his new messenger account, paired with an anonymous phone number, and sent him a message.

Kai closed the app without giving Jack a chance to reply, instead he opened the QuestMaster app and prepared Jack’s next quest.
