Public Trial (bad end)

The Batarians haven been crossed by the Alliance and especially Commander Shepard; they decide that slavery was too dangerous an option for one of Shepard’s caliber. Should Shepard escape, the damage she could do; the damage she already caused. Asteroid x57, the numerous **** raids, the geth forces; too many examples of how dangerous she was. The Batarians wanted her gone; they were going to have her pay for her crimes and the crimes of the humans.

As the Batraians returned to their homeworld of Khar'shan; Kragar Bras'geth radios into the Hegemony. They made note of the hull, especially of the ‘big catch’. The frigate carrying Shepard was halted before landing. The Hegemony needs time to organize a trial.

Time passes, the frigate is allowed to land. Commander Shepard; striped of her armor, clothes, and dignity; is led separate from her friends. Liara, Tali, and the rest of the captured humans were led towards the **** district.

Shepard, restrained with a collar and leash, is led through crowds of civilian Batarians. Jeers and all kinds of degrading remarks are made towards the disgraced commander. Cries of **** are audible but drowned in the sea of jeers and snide remarks. Shepard had to suffer what felt like hours of this cruel and unusual punishment.

As the public exhibition ended; Shepard is brought into a courtroom. The batarians, suffice to say, treated Shepard as lowly as possible. Shepard stood before her prosecutor, and member of the Hegemony, naked and restrained. Not given anyone to defend her, suffice to say, it was a sham trial.

“Jane Shepard, former commander of the Alliance, I hereby find you guilty of all charges and sentence you to **** by beating.”

Shepard was led out of the courtroom and brought to the poorer side of the district. She was beaten to **** by Batarian low-lifes, surrounded by crowds of civilian Batarians.
