Zack and Max try and make their way through the club.

Max hugged the coat she wore close with one hand and held the gun Zack had given her with the other. Zack led the way through the back of the club, they were near the dressing rooms where Max had changed into the clothes she was now wearing earlier this mourning.

Zack was taking point leading the way, eyes down the sight if his gun. The entire club echoed with the blaring **** gun fire from Nathan and Nikoli's men, here and there was the harrowing scream of someone meeting their maker.

"This way", Max said to Zack.

"We got to get to Nathan's office and get those files you handed him Max."

"Hey, my cloths are down here, and I'm not walking around in all but my birthday suite."

They made their way to the changing rooms, Zack heading in first sweeping the room with military precision.

Five minutes later Max was again dressed in the red leather bra, and black leather pants and jacket she had come in the night before.

"COVER!" yelled Zack as he aimed his gun at the door and squeezed the trigger firing off four shots. Max ears picked up the sound of bullet piercing flesh and bone followed by a thud of a body, just behind that twelve footsteps clapped on the ground heading in their direction. There was multiple clicks; machine guns cocking.

"Oh shit" Max dived behind a make-up table as the spray of bullets burst into the room zipping past her. There was the sound of splintering wood, tearing cloth, and breaking glass as the room was shredded under the **** of gunfire. Then Max heard it, in the midst of the hail of bullets; the yell of a man.

She looked over the table. There on the ground; Zack had been hit in the leg.

"ZACK!" Max yelled.
