Okato scowled as she approached the cabin. It was clear that this trap had been set for her student... unless Digit had just been an unwitting patsy. If the perpetrator had banked on Alibaster rescuing Digit before she could trigger this glyph, then they may have also banked on Okato following through in her place. In which case, this trap could have actually been set for her.

Either way, this was nothing she was too unfamiliar with. Glyphs were one of the most common forms of magic used in pranks at a magic school, and she had defused countless ones before around the dorms. Hell, she had defused plenty in her time before as a student of the same school.

She crouched down beside the glyph and examined its markings closely. Its intended function could be determined from the symbols it used, but many glyphs were set to trigger upon being read and could contain powerful explosions. She was ready to cast the Shield spell at a moment's notice, should it prove necessary.

[P] I approach the glyph and attempt to discern its intended function.
