Rumi Usagiyama, also known as the Rabbit Hero, Miruko

Your name is Ren Yamada and you are not a catboy. No matter that’s what so many people have decided to call you for some bizarre reason. Sure, you have a pair of cute white kitty ears nestled in your blonde hair, and a lovely long prehensile tail curling up from just above your butt, but that’s all part of your Mutant-type Quirk Catscratch. It is certainly not an excuse for everyone to treat you like some sort of household pet. Just this week, you’ve had five very rude individuals grabbing your tail just to hear you meow and hiss, and another six who took it upon themselves to reach down and pat your head with their dirty mitts so they can scratch your cute kitty ears.

That isn’t even the worst of it. Due to certain…other traits, like your short, slender body, pretty face with big blue eyes and long, fluttering lashes and a preference for cute feminine clothing, you’re often mistaken for something even more embarrassing than a catboy, a catgirl! That attracts even worse than the petting zoo patrons! Sleazy men with easy smiles who come up and ask you if you’re in heat tonight. Boys don’t go into heat, stupid!

Well, you have a very smart plan to change all that. When you’re the famous pro-hero, Siberian Tiger (the name you've currently settled on from an exhaustive list of fifty), vanquishing villains with swings of your sabre claws, no-one is going to dare mistake you for a girl ever again! And no-one’s going to dare pet you either! The only problem is you never got into any of the Hero Academies. None of them could see your potential. Sure, you tripped over a lot during every single entrance exam you took, but they should have understood that was just a fluke and given you another chance! So you were stuck going to a normal school, and now that you’ve just graduated working a dead-end job at a tired old convenience store while still living with your boring parents.

Fortunately, you’re way too smart and brave to let that stop you! All you have to do is persuade one of the pro-heroes to take you on as a sidekick and that’ll be your way in. You’ll fight evil alongside your mentor, learning just what it takes to be a real legend and making sure everyone knows who you are! You’ll earn your place among the best of the best someday, and soon it’ll be you on TV giving interviews, with videos of you shared amongst hopeful children dreaming of the chance to be a hero like you someday.

You’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this, trying to decide which pro-hero you want to team up with, and you’ve settled on a choice that less intelligent minds might believe to be foolish. Rumi Usagiyama or Miruko the Rabbit Hero. She has a mutant-type Quirk that gives her animal attributes just like you, so the team-up makes sense, right? That’s why you want to be with her, no other reason.

It certainly has nothing to do with how beautiful she is, with her long-flowing white hair and sharp red eyes that make you shiver with longing each time you see her glaring at you from your computer screen. Nor does it have anything at all to do with her muscled, well-trained body, perfectly honed for fighting evil. When you spend hours hunched over your laptop admiring her toned, tanned thighs and drooling onto your keyboard, you're just looking for workout tips to help you bulk up a little yourself! You certainly don't stay up at night imagining having your head held rather firmly between her legs while she sneers at you to try harder to please her. No, ma'am, you're a good cat!

She's strong, brave, tough and ranked number five of all the pro-heroes in Japan. Why wouldn't you want to work with her? You're certain once she takes you under your wing, you'll learn quickly just what it takes to be a true-hero. And if...at some point sparks should fly and the gorgeous rabbit hero decides she wants something more from her cute sidekick and tosses you over her shoulder to carry you to her bed...well, you'll be a very happy kitten indeed.

Of course, there is one small snag with your amazing plan. Miruko very famously doesn't want to team up with anyone. She thinks heroes should face their challenges alone and that those who dare rely on others are weak and cowardly. You admire her even more for her ideals, but it does make things rather more difficult for an aspiring boy who just wants to be by her side through it all. Fortunately you have just the plan for that as well. You've been thinking this over, and you finally believe you have the perfect way to persuade your rabbit idol to take you on as her sidekick! And today's the day you put it into action!
