she wins

I took a deep breath as I was led to the start of my race. I had already watched two other races and was surprised by the sure size of the race. it looked to have as many people as you would see at a normal horse track. looking up I can see the stands full of people with them cheering on the pony they bet on. apparently since I am new to the races I was not given good odds.

I know I should be thinking about how to escape with the opportunity given to me but my pride demanded that I win to prove those doubters wrong. looking to my sides I see the other seven girls getting ready to take off. I turn to face the front as I listened for the starting shot. upon hearing it I took off at full speed and quickly took first. seeing this I slowed down a little to save up energy for the final sprint since these races were three times longer than the practice races we did on the farm.

I manage to stay in the lead till the final corner. I saw in the corner of my eye the pony most expected to win was trying to overtake me. as soon as we finished the corner she had manage to get in front of me. i just smirked behind my gag and went full speed in the end passing the horse and crossed the finish line

"and the winner of the third heat Uzu," announced the announcer. I gave a small glare hearing that. really the bastards couldn't at least use my full name. shaking my head I saw the boss walk up to me and attach my reigns to the gag before leading me to the stable.

"good job and you even beat one of the top pony's as well. you have defiantly earned that special reward I offered. I will come back tonight to grab you."

grab me, so he isn't going to sleep with me in the pen. I tilt my head in confusion at this causing him to laugh and say, "you will find out tonight."
