testing her new wings

Hinata was being led through a long corridor. she did not have any restraints on her, but it was made clear if she tried anything the collar would activate. she just followed the two guards escorting her as she tried her best to memorize the path they took. about ten minutes after leaving her cell they opened a door leading to a balcony over looking a large room.

"Okay Hinata. time to test out those new wings," said the doctor. "you can either jump off the balcony or my men can be the mother bird and kick you out the nest.

hinata took a deep breath as she got to the edge of the balcony. she closed her eyes and stretched her new wings wide before leaving the balcony. hinata felt the wind rush by her as she fell. eventually her wings manage to catch the wind and she went from a free fall to parallel to the ground. opening her eyes she is shocked to see her self staying above the ground.

"not bad now how do you feel," he asks.

"my wings are feeling a little sore from being really used for the first time. its like your limb had been kept in a cast but is now free to move but has lost some muscle. I think it would be better if i had my chakra," she said. she could of lied but felt it would be best to be truthful so if something goes wrong they would know.

"we shall see about that," said the voice. once he finished hinata felt a rush of energy go through her body. she focused her chakra into her wings and found it easier to stay in the air and reach higher heights.

"what is the difference," asked the doctor.

"they move in the air easier and seem to be able to hand my body weight more," hinata answered.

"excellent now for round two," said the doctor.
