Mateus sees the city.

The two currently stand on an upper level that oversees the entire capital city of Tolis. It's enormous, and gorgeous. He casts his eyes down upon its majesty. It's in every way a fantasy landscape of near-medieval architecture but with more advanced infrastructure--good roads, street lights albeit lit with magic, and more. What's more wondrous is that it isn't only humans around. He sees others with rabbit ears, but also people with the ears of a cat. Some are without a doubt elves. There are dwarves, gnomes, and the list keeps going. It's overwhelming. Everything is like the fantasy words he knows only from fiction in the real world.

This is the real world, though. It isn't a dream. It might not be my world, but there's no doubt about it. I don't know if I died or what, but this is totally an isekai situation! It has to be! Does that mean the girl here is destined to be my love interest...?

He turns with a smile, but Adriana is already walking towards the steps spiralling down towards the city.

"Are you coming?" she asks.

"Oh, uh. Yeah! Wait up! I'm not exactly from around here, remember?"

Mateus catches up and they head down together into the heart of the city. It's remarkable. Not only is it a world of fantasy, but the outfits are something to behold. It isn't just Adriana that leans more on the provocative side of dressing. There are plenty of tiny skirts, low-cut tops, and elaborate attire that surely must be annoying to put on every morning. It's the world of his dreams. He tries his best not to ogle, though the view is captivating.

But she doesn't act risqué. She's actually very kind, and across as innocent. I guess that's just the style of this world, or maybe just this kingdom. I should probably be careful not to immediately out myself as a pervert. Though if that's how the world is, maybe they don't care anyway.

"So where are we going?" he asks.

"Redbloom Academy, the prestigious school for knowledge of all sorts, though mainly studies of the arcane. I've been gone for awhile, so I wonder how everyone has been. The first thing we'll do when we arrive is have you fitted for a uniform. I'm afraid to say that your clothing is rather odd, and will likely stick out among the others."

"My clothes are odd?"

"Indeed."

It isn't too long before the two arrive at the campus, which is absolutely sprawling. Multiple buildings fill the grounds, and they're uniformly made with red bricks, but there's also a courtyard filled with flowers along stone pathways spiralling throughout. He sees a few different people walking to and from the different buildings, all dressed in the same outfits. Girls wear regal black clothes trimmed with gold--a top buttoned up over a white undershirt and red tie, plaid skirts, thigh-high stockings, fancy shoes, and black packs hung over their backs. Boys have something similar, though with dress pants instead of a skirt.

Adriana leads you along the pathway to a single building surrounded by flowers. There's a sign above the door that reads, "Grand Master's Office". She walks up and drums her knuckles against it.

Then she turns to you. "You must greet the Acting Grand Master with respect."

"I'll do my best, but I'm still a little overwhelmed," he replies.

"Just keep it together. We have the writ from my grandfather, but if you get on her bad side, she still might not allow you entry to the academy. And if you truly are this legend of a traveller from another world, then it would be wise to make allies with someone in control of so much knowledge."

That makes sense. It shouldn't be too hard. Yeah, it looks like Adriana's tits are gonna spill out, and I've seen even skimpier outfits back on the streets, but the uniforms aren't so bad. They're cute, and look like something from a highschool anime, but I wouldn't call them lewd. The Acting Grand Master I imagine would dress in a similar way. Respectfully.
