What Happens Now?

Mercy Cleans Lois Up

There was a hose in the bathroom. Lois Lane was too drunk and exhausted to put up a coordinated defense as Mercy Graves hauled her over to it. "What is this?" Lois asked.

"You'll find out soon enough," Mercy said. The voice was rough. The inner door to the airlock slid open, and Lois saw a well-lit room, all sleek and white, like the inside of an Apple computer.

"In, Lane," Mercy gave her a little prod. "Don't try anything."
