3.) Something he never thought he would have done.

(About a month after losing all of his belongings to Brittany and Austin.)

I've given up trying to convince Brittany and Austin at this point.

A year of this? Maybe two? That's... doable, I guess, but if I couldn't even talk to my roommates in that time, I think I would literally go insane.

Thank goodness for them. I can't provide any source of income at the moment, so it's a wonder why they haven't tried to reverse this entire situation to get so that I can at least be dressed to go to work.

I was sitting in my empty room, thinking about how all of my friends at the college must be doing, when I got a knock at the door. My roommate Robbie walked in, my old phone in hand.

"Hey, Ben," he said, reaching his hand out towards me. "Phone's for you." He then whispered very quietly. "It's you-know-who."

I got up off the floor and took the phone out of his hand. He left the room as I put the phone to my ear as answered, "Hello...?"

"Hello, Benny-boy," I heard Brittany on the other line. "I hope you've been behaving."

I sighed. "About as well as I can," I responded, so completely tired of this situation. "I'm bored, and I want to see my friends again."

Brittany chuckled. "Well, have I got good news for you," I could practically hear that signature devilish smile of hers coming out the other side. "Get your supplies ready, because you're going back to school."

"Wha-?!" I stammered in shock. Really? I get to go back and finish my degree?? "Really, Britt?! I can go back to college now?!"

"Of course you can!" she replied sweetly... almost too sweet. "On one condition."

I felt a sense of dread crawling throughout my body. "What's the condition?" I asked, a bit afraid to know what the answer was.
