An Angry Clown.

After everything that you've been through, especially with your once overzealous 'harem,' you thought you deserved a break from heroics for a while.

Maybe a week.

You and Supergirl arrived at the command center where you were glad to see familiar faces. And hopefully, ones that wouldn't be **** or influenced by your pheromones. Your footsteps took you across the platform, with Supergirl still acting pent up. You walked her to her room, seeing how it was the least you could do after she helped you.

And got a piece of Ace's mind...

As you reached her door, she smiled sadly at you and thanked you, just before she scurried into hiding. At that moment, you reached your out only to a closing door. You lower your hand and release a tense breath of air that had been building. Feeling bad that Kara had spent so much time and energy fretting about you, when she could be helping to save the world, you wanted to make things better for her.

But how?

You walk off and tax your mind about all the things that she enjoys doing, something you could do to show how much you appreciate your true lover. Or maybe love...

In the middle of nowhere, somewhere between Gotham City and Metropolis, there was a brand new strip club called Straight's Diamonds. Relatively smaller, compared to other larger buildings, but cars nearly filled the parking lot. Inside, there were beautiful young girls either tending to customers or performing on the 360° stage. Whoever ran it was keeping things alive and/or interesting because the workers always seemed to be smiling and involved with making money, but most importantly, involved with the customers' happiness.

Up in the staff room on the second floor, only a select few employees, or very special guests, were allowed. Inside sat John Straight, aka the Joker! He was growling into his landline phone, talking to the leader of the Royal Flush Gang. "What happened?! The plan was so simple, a rookie could understand: overwhelm the ninja wannabe, and bring him to me. Can't you do anything right?!"

"We had him, mister Joker," Jack explained. "But then, Supergirl came barging in and--"

"Quiet!" Joker bellowed. There was a moment of silence before the clown pulled himself together. He grinned and spoke again. "Don't fold just yet, Jacky-boy. There's still time to reshuffle and play a new hand, starting with a certain super lady to wrangle in her cowboy..."

Joker's chuckle seemed to lightly resonate throughout his office.

J'onn was keeping an eye on the monitors, but he was concerned for the way Kara behaved when she and Shadow arrived. Although he could not read too deeply into her mind, he sensed some lack of certainty, an unsettlement of sorts. He then asked Michael Holt, or Mr. Terrific to take over, and he left the bridge to talk to Supergirl.
