meeting naruto

Minato tried to hide his nervousness as he pulled the sleeping Naruto into his mindscape. he was terrified that Naruto would hate him and never forgive him for what he had done. taking a deep breath he looked to the center of the room as Naruto appeared.

"huh where am i," asked Naruto looking around. he then sees Minato in the corner. "who are you?"

"hello Naruto. we are currently in your mindscape," Minato started to explain. "a mindscape is essentially an area of your mind you can enter usually during meditation."

"if this is my mind then who are you," asked Naruto. he then started to get a little afraid and said, "are you a ghost? you better stay away or else dattebayo."

Minato paused in how to answer. technically he was a ghost just stuck in Naruto's mind. he also was not sure if he should admit to being Naruto's father till he is sure he will keep it a secret. of course he could not help but laugh as he thought of Kushina facepalming knowing her verbal tick was passed on.

"Hey what is so funny Mr. ghost," yelled Naruto.

"sorry Naruto just thinking of what you mother would say about you having a variant of her verbal tick," said Minato with out thinking.

"my mother you know who my mother is," Asked Naruto in shock.

"yes she was one of my best friends," said Minato. "her name was Kushina Uzumaki. you act a lot like her with the short temper and yelling." he felt a shiver run down his spine as he says that like Kushina knew he had said that and was going to make him pay somehow.

shaking off the feeling Minato continued "my name is Minato and yes technically I am a ghost but I am stuck here in your head. sorry i cant tell you why I am here yet we will wait till you ae a little older."

Naruto was just looking down at the ground as tears start to fall down his cheeks. "can you tell me more about her," he managed to ask.

"of course we can talk in between lessons," he said.

"lessons," asked Naruto.

"lessons to make you the best shinobi you can be," said Minato.
