secret Uchiha hideout

Itachi made his way to a secret base his father had told him about years ago. His father had told him about several of these hideouts in case he needed a place to be safe and could not reach the village. this particular hideout is inside a cave hidden by genjutsu. it was one of the more secured hideouts amongst the ones he knew and had been used by the clan since the waring clan era.

Because of how well it was hidden away it was perfect place to protect both his sister and Naruko from Madara and the rest of the Akatsuki. there are even seals surrounding it that would prevent Zetsu from spying on the occupants. while Madara might now of the hideout he had always doubt that the masked Uchiha was really Madara and the hideout was only told to the clan heir by the clan head.

thinking back his father had a hidden smirk when talking about the hideout but always said he would understand when he visited the base. till now he had no reason to go to this base since it was well out of the way of anywhere he had gone while part of the Akatsuki.

activating his sharingan once he reached the mountain it took him almost two hours to find the cave. after entering the cave he had to walk a half an hour in a maze of tunnels till he finally found the base. letting out a sigh of relief he placed his hand on the door and a burst of chakra later allowed him to enter the building. upon stepping in side his brain froze for a second seeing what the base had become. "you have got to be kidding me," he said as he looked around the base.
