She doesn't get to try this often...

“What’s that wicked grin for?” Temari remarked sounding a little pissed

“What grin? I just want to know what you wanted to do today.”

Blushing deeper Naruto thought she was going to get right down to business, but she surprised him altogether with her plans for the day.

“We don’t have much water in my home village, and there are a lot of sandstorms, so we don’t get to dress down much and its better to stay indoors. I like it here. There aren’t any sand storms and there is a lot more color, not just the tan of the sand. I haven’t had much time to mess around when I am outside the country of sand because of missions, so, if you don’t mind….” As her voice dropped to a mere mumble Naruto strained to hear what she was saying.

“I couldn’t hear that last bit. What did you say you wanted to do?”

Perhaps a little louder then necessary and a little harsher due to her embarrassment at such a simple request, “I said do you want to go swimming?”

“Sure! I love to swim. I know all the best places around here.” As Naruto began to list off all the places he knew of to swim Temari cut him off quickly.

“Do you know of any place more….private” Looking at her a little confused Naruto began to think of some of the more out of the way swimming holes he knew of. Finally deciding on one he knew no one would be near, he told it to Temari who seemed a bit more relieved though still blushing. Getting a clue Naruto started to grin a little more broadly as thought he realized her preference for a secluded spot. After all, they wouldn’t want to be interrupted.

After they went to their rooms and got dressed for the day, Naruto lead Temari out from the village to one of his secret clearings a bit away from Konoha. He had found it a long time ago and as far as he could tell, no one came here. He figured that was because it was only really accessible from a well hidden trail, and had briars on every other approach. Laying out his towel and stripping off his shirt and shoes, Naruto quickly headed towards the water and jumped in. poking his head back above the surface he realized Temari wasn’t quite so quick to join him, as she was still fussing with her towel seemingly wanting it to be perfect.

“Come on in Temari the water feels great.”

“S-shut up I’ll come in when I’m ready.” Thinking it odd, but not concerned too much, he began to swim around a bit in an effort to show her how fun it was. The next time he looked her way though he almost drowned as she was now sitting on a rock near the water with her feet barely playing in the surface. Her actions aren’t what surprised him so much though. Instead it was the very small, sand colored string bikini she was wearing. The color blended with her skin so well that it almost seemed that it wasn’t there. This of course is what he thought he had seen at first, leading to his near drowning.

“Temari that is one hot swimming suit. It matches you perfectly.” He called out to her. “Why not come in so I can get a closer look?”
