Chase Him

In a dramatic moment, Finn let go from Zoey's hand, and started running at full speed towards the goblin chief, who was a long way ahead of him. Zoey screamed for his name, as she saw him run after the goblin chief, with her heart broken, because she knew what he was getting himself into. Her scream catched Faranne and Lilith's attention, so they ran to the forest to see what was happening.

"What happened??" - Faranne asked Zoey, out of breath from running so fast. Zoey struggled to get her words out at first? from the shock of seeing her best friend, crush, and what she wanted to be her lover, run after the goblin chief, in the middle of the Darcoak Woods, which was known for being dangerous, specially if it was infected with dozens of goblins, that could attack him at any second.

"Finn!! He- he ran after a goblin!!!" - Zoey finally replied, after stuttering quite a lot.

"WHAT??" - Faranne shouted, as she couldn't believe what she just heard. She looked in front of her to see if Finn was near, but she started panicking when she saw that he was long gone. She wasn't just going to stand there though, waiting for him to come back, she trusted him, but cared too much for him to let him run after a goblin in the middle of the forest. So Faranne also started running, chasing after him, hoping that she could get there soon, or at least before Finn gets in any trouble.

Finn was closing in on the goblin chief, he was very fast, so he got there fairly quickly. He wanted to sneak up on him, and follow him around, to find where the goblin base is, but after seeing that it was just forest for miles, he decided to attack him now. So Finn grabbed a rock, threw it with precision at the goblin chief, just to get his attention, and quickly went to hide behind a tree. The goblin chief looked around to see who hit him, and right as he got near the tree where Finn was hiding, he made a weird sound to call the other goblins for back up.

Finn got nervous, as he knew more goblins were on the way, but as he had the goblin chief right in front of him he decided to attack. He jumped at him, and stabbed his back before starting to beat the shit out of him, he punched his face probably ten times before the goblin fell on the floor. After defeating the goblin chief, Finn chuckled smugly, but after what he considered a great victory, he wasn't too confident anymore, as 4 small goblins attacked him from behind. Thankfully all of them were using cubs or sticks, and not daggers like the rest of them, because otherwise he would have been dead. Still, they attacked him with enough **** to knock him over, and as he tried to stand back up, two more goblins came from the sides with large rocks. Finn dodged one of them, but the other one that the goblins threw at him hit him right in the stomach, causing him to fall again.

It looked like it was the end for him, there were now 8 goblins beating him up, he was taking a lot of damage, and didn't have the chance to fight back, so he accepted defeat. He didn't mind, since he was satisfied with killing the goblin chief, although he actually didn't kill him, as he saw him walking away, with slight difficulty, because of the sword injury, but he seemed fine. This infuriated Finn, but even with all that anger, he didn't have the strength to fight back, so he could only pray for someone to save him, or just accept ****.

Thankfully, his prayers work, as Faranne came for his rescue. She brought Zoey's sword, that she used to kill 4 goblins all at once, she kicked two of them to let Finn stand up, and together they got to kill the remaining goblins with some powerful moves, mainly from Faranne, because Finn was in a bad state. He was happy though, because Faranne came to help him, literally saving his life, for like the thirtieth time, but she wasn't too happy about all this.

"Nice! That was awesome! That kick you did was fantas-" - Finn exclaimed excitedly, but got interrupted by a not so friendly looking Faranne, who stared at him, with a very serious expression.

"What were you thinking when you chased that goblin to the woods?? Didn't you think about the risks of your actions?? You almost got killed!! You are lucky that I came here for you to save your life because I care for you but if you were alone you would be dead by now!!" - Faranne said frustratedly to Finn, like she used to do when she had to give him a lesson after doing something dumb. She didn't seem too pleased by what Finn did, and he noticed that, so he tried to justify himself.

"I'm sorry, I just saw the goblin chief and I knew I had to chase him, I thought if I could kill him we would defeat the goblins for good, you know? Like they would fear us and be too scared to attack us again, I thought it was the right thing but clearly it wasn't..." - Finn explained himself, with a slightly sad tone, that made Faranne frown with sympathy for him. She couldn't get mad at him, even after doing such a stupid thing, so she changed his tone to a more soft one.

"I get it, you wanted to do the right thing and defend us like the true warrior you want to be... but you have to think more carefully next time, okay? I find it endearing to be honest that you want to do this for us but you don't need to put yourself in danger like this, think about us... as I said, I care for you, we all do... a lot, so we can't afford to lose you for a dumb thing like this, we need you, I need you so don't do this ever again, please..." - Faranne said with affection, as she placed her hand on Finn's shoulder, and told him all of this, while facing him very closely. Her sweet words made him smile, which made her smile too, and after staring at each other for a while, he finally nodded and agreed.

"Right, I will try better next time... and yea, I think I should be grateful for you, you saved my life yet again and I'm so happy to see that you care for me... I promise you I won't do something this dumb ever again" - Finn said, with a friendly voice, and a big smile, that caused Faranne to pull him into a big, loving hug, that lasted for a long while.

"That's my boy..." - Faranne said softly, as they continued hugging. She brushed his hair with her hand, as she pulled his head closer to her, so she could show him more affection, which Finn thought was nice, specially because he had her breasts right below his head, a little lower and he would be buried in them.

"We'll continue discussing this later but for now let's return to the village, everyone is waiting for you and they are very worried" - Faranne said, after breaking the hug, and they headed back to the village, while they talked a little more, before finally getting out of the forest.
