Goblin Fight

Finn and Zoey ran straight to the forest, to find that the goblins had indeed fallen into Lilith's trap. 3 of them got crushed by a log, and they were screaming from pain, trying to get help from the other goblins, who quickly came to their rescue. Finn looked around to see where the goblins were going to come from, and he saw that Lilith and Faranne were in position. They climbed a small watchtower, that they had prepared in case of any attacks like this one, and they grabbed their bows, then started aiming them at the forest, ready to shoot any disgusting goblin that dared to show up. And they did, the goblins showed up, not a few goblins though, oh no... it was a large group of more than 20, or even more, because they slowly started to come out of the woods, and every second it seemed like more came out, so at the end they looked like too many for our friends to battle.

Finn and Zoey got a couple kills at first, but then they realized there were too many for them, so they stepped back. They tried defending their position, but took a few hits, so Faranne ordered them to return to the watchtower. They ran to get some cover behind a house near the watchtower, as the goblins were attacking them with everything they had, since there were not only goblins with daggers, there were also archers, rock throwers, and others that had the capability to attack the village from afar.

That's when Faranne and Lilith had to defeat as many goblin archers and throwers that they could. The two sisters were the only ones capable to deal with them from a distance, so Finn and Zoey stayed in cover, disappointed at themselves, from not being able to help more, they just had to wait until they were safe to come out, and hopefully continue slaying goblins.

"They are going to overwhelm us!" - Zoey exclaimed, after poking her head out, and seeing how the goblins were advancing on their position, and starting to flank them.

"Don't worry, we'll be okay..." - Finn said with a reassuring tone, even though he was very scared, he tried to remain calm, and show confidence to Zoey. She believed his words, so she nodded while staring at him, with a sweet smile on her face, as she loved how he took control of situations, and made her feel safe. Even if it looked like the both of them were going to die, Finn always found a way to protect Zoey, and beat his enemies too.

But this time it looked different, Faranne and Lilith were overwhelmed by the goblins, they were shooting back with more aggression as they got closer, to the point that the two of them were getting shot from every direction. They had to look for cover too, so the goblins took this opportunity to run at them. Finn peeked a little, and his heart stopped when he saw dozens of goblins running at full speed towards the watchtower. But then he saw a big goblin, significantly bigger than the rest of them, that had all sorts of necklaces and bracelets, so he assumed that was their leader. He was probably the furthest back from the whole troop, so he wouldn't get hurt, and it would be difficult to attack him. Finn thought that if he could take down the goblin leader, the rest of them would run away, and it seemed like a perfect target to hit, but he had to wait for a moment where he could run without any goblin noticing, sneak up on him, and kill him quickly before he gets attacked.

Luckily for him, the goblins stopped attacking, seemingly without reason, until everyone looked at a small creature, walking behind a large and terrifying one. It was Itzel, of course he was the small creature, but what no one saw coming was the giant crab that he had in front of him. It was huge, twice the size of him (although, that's pretty normal for any human sized creature, but for a crab is a big thing), it looked very scary with its large and sharp pincers, that seem like they could crush a goblin effortlessly. Everyone looked in awe, as they witnessed the giant crab walking with the halfling. And while the goblins were terrified, the friends were mostly confused by how Itzel managed to find a giant crab, became its friend, and got it to help kill the goblins when his friends were surrounded.

Apparently the crabs from earlier were running away to find their momma, and after Itzel went to hide, he saw one of the crabs that got away, and he followed it to the beach, where he was surprised to find a giant crab. The small crab was reunited with its momma, and as a thank you, the giant crab followed Itzel to the village, and saw the fight that was occurring, so it went to help out.

And that's how the giant crab started destroying the goblins. It was brutal, it crushed them with its weight, it grabbed them, to then snap their bodies in half with the pincers, it even ate a few ones ,but as the friends were entertained by all this, they quickly joined in to help the giant crab kill the goblins. It was receiving a lot of shots, but its shell served as good protection for it. Faranne and Lilith went back to shooting every single goblin bastard, Zoey and Finn came out to play, killing a good portion of the stunned goblins, that still couldn't believe a giant crab was killing their friends in front of them, although in reality, no one could believe it, but they just accepted it, like many things in their magical lives.

Itzel was the most amused out of everyone, he just stayed back, and watched as his new crabby friend was completely massacring the goblins that tried to attack his home. He was proud of himself for finally being useful, and bringing some reinforcement to his friends, but also very entertained, as the whole fight was a fantastic, and ridiculous show, of a giant crab killing dozens of goblins, while they just failed to do any damage to it.

Now that they had the leverage, Finn and Zoey became more aggressive, pushing the goblins away from the village with every devastating blow they delivered to the poor goblins. They couldn't even react before they got their ugly faces slashed in many pieces by the young warriors' swords, Finn and Zoey always loved killing evil monsters, so they laughed as they killed every single goblin in front of them. They stared at each other a couple times too, and kept laughing as they skillfully defeated every opponent, and also both of them found the giant crab hilarious.

But now that the goblins were clearly going to lose, their leader, the goblin chief, ordered them to retreat to the woods, and so they did, they all ran away like cowards to hide in the forest once again. Some stayed there to fight some more, only to end up crushed by the giant crab, while others just ran back the way they came from, without looking back, or saying anything, they were too scared to end up like their friends, either crushed, devoured, or stabbed by the giant crab, so they just gave up, and ran with the thought of never coming back.

Faranne and Lilith cheered, and gave props to each other, as they saw the goblins backing out. They had a brief sister hug, before coming down to join Finn and Zoey, who were still slaying some goblin scum, alongside the giant crab, in fact they were even walking into the woods, as they were too caught up in killing goblins. Zoey quickly noticed that they were entering the woods, and since most of the goblins had run away, she thought it was time to stop, and rejoin the others.

"Alright, enough of killing these bastards... it was fun though but let's try not to follow them into the woods..." - Zoey said to Finn, who continued chasing a few goblins, before he stopped to listen to her. He nodded, as he knew it was dangerous to chase the goblins in the woods, but as he looked at Zoey facing him, with her beautiful smile on her face, he noticed that behind her there it was...

The goblin chief, running away like the other goblin cowards, wasn't as fast as the others though, because he was more fat and big, restricting his movement a little bit. Those bracelets and necklaces didn't help him either, so Finn thought it was an easy target, he wanted to chase the goblin chief, and even follow him to find out where the goblin camp is located. He knew it was too risky, because he could get ambushed by other goblins, but he thought this was a perfect opportunity to take him down, and maybe even defeat the goblins for good.

He thought about it for a second, while the goblin chief was getting away, and every second he wasted on thinking about what he could do, meant a bigger distance between him and the fat goblin. But then he saw Zoey again, giving him the flirty look, acting playful with him, as she brushed his hand down his arm, until she grabbed his hand, and tried to lead him home. She wanted to return with the girls at the village, but as he seemed to be frozen, she tried dragging him out of the forest. Now Finn wasn't sure what to do, he loved how Zoey grabbed his hand to make him return, but he also really wanted to chase after the goblin chief, as it was probably the only chance he had.
