Chapter 13

What's next?

Diapered at the station.

Lauren didn’t have any time to think about this any longer as Janet got out of the car and walked around to her side. She opened Lauren’s door and reached in to unbuckle the little woman from her seat. After that, she grabbed Lauren by her underarms and brought her up to her chest, before placing a hand under her diapered butt and carrying her to the entrance; closing the car door behind her.

Lauren turned a bright scarlet at this new development. She was being carried into the police station as if she couldn’t walk by herself. And to add insult to her injured pride, she was being carried like an infant! Lauren began to hyperventilate as she was brought closer to the doors of the station.

Janet opened the door and brought Lauren inside. Lauren gulped as the cold AC made contact with her bare skin, sending a shiver down her spine. As they entered, they were greeted by an officer – a blonde, slightly chubby woman in her thirties who’s badge read Martha – at the front desk.

“Hey Janet, our shift's almost over soon.” Martha said. She then looked at Lauren and smiled sweetly at her. “And who is this little pumpkin?”

“This is Lauren Smith.” Janet explained. “I found her on my patrol around the park. Her mother left her there without even a stitch of clothing; just her diaper!”

“Oh, dear.” Martha said, her voice saddened. “I’ll see if I can find information about them in the town records.”

“No, I’ll take care of it. I need to fill out the report anyway.” Janet said. “Can you keep an eye on her and see if there’s anything in the lost and found for her to wear?”

“It would be an honor.” Martha said with a nod, getting up from her seat.

Lauren blushed as she found herself being handed off to the other woman, who cradled her in her arms; yet another destructive blow to her pride. Martha and Janet then went off in opposite directions, with Martha taking Lauren towards a large room that read “Lost and Found”.

“Now then,” Martha said as she opened the door and sat Lauren down on a chair, “let’s find you something to wear. Don’t want you to catch a cold or get too chilly.”

Lauren groaned. While she was glad that no one recognized her as an adult (and was ecstatic to finally get something to wear), it was completely humiliating to be talked down to and treated like a child. She supposed it was for the best, though; who knew what would happen if they found out that she was an adult?

Suddenly, Lauren realized that Martha had left the door to the lost and found wide open. She looked out the door and saw that she was actually quite close to the precinct doors. And since Martha was too busy rummaging through boxes to fully keep an eye on her, Lauren realized that she could make a break for it! She could run away from all this and never look back until she made it to her house and was properly dressed!

But what if she didn’t make it? What if the police caught her before she made it to the doors? And what would happen once she got out? She would have to trek all the way home through the city...in just a diaper!

Lauren debated this in her head for a bit. Should she just stay put, or take her chances and make a run for it?

Stay or go?
