Make a run for it

Lauren couldn’t stay here any longer. She had to make a run for it! Quietly getting up from her chair, Lauren turned to tiptoe out the door of the lost and found. After having just reached the doorway, Lauren looked over her shoulder to see that Martha was still rummaging through the boxes. Turning back around, Lauren sprinted for the entrance to the building; her feet softly padding on the building’s linoleum floors.

Lauren smirked as she got closer to entrance and opened the doors, running outside. Once she was outside, she didn’t stop running until she reached the parking lot. Leaning against one of the cars, Lauren panted trying to catch her breath. Lauren smirked for a bit before a thought crossed her mind.

She made it this far; what now?
