food and investigations

The sooner I find proof of what we need then the sooner i can get out of here. I open my door and look down the hallway. i had looked earlier but I could not see and camera's in the area I had looked. sticking to the shadows i made my way to the kitchen first so i could use the excuse of getting food if someone finds me.

it only took about ten minutes for me to reach the Kitchen and i grabbed a few pieces of fruit and a glass of milk. once it was in my stomach i turned around and left the room. i then made the turn to the masters office. it would be easy to say i made a wrong turn since my room is to the left and the office is to the right.

once I reached the door i tested the door and found it was locked. taking a lock pick from my hair i went to work unlocking the door. in less than a minute it was open and i was making my way inside. i went to the filing cabinets first and started to search through the files using the moonlight to see the paperwork.

not seeing anything that stands out like suspicious purchases or missing supplies I moved onto the desk. i hoped i could find a journal or something that would lead me in the right direction. of course the drawers were locked and i had to pick the lock on them. what i didn't see till it was too late was a small string attached to something in the drawer. by the time i noticed it i had the drawer open and the string broke. and i heard a beeping coming from the drawer.
