Playing hooky

Spongebob NEVER skipped a day of work. NEVER, but somehow he was convinced by his good friend, Patrick, to do just that. “Come on, Spongebob, the carnival’s in town!”

“Patrick, no, you know what happened last year when we played... this game,” Spongebob said. “I was humiliated in front of Pearl and her friends.”

“Oh come on, Spongebob, it’ll be better this time,” Patrick said. “What’s the worst that could happen? I mean last time I was turned into a Tuna Can, but I made my way back safe and sound. We’re invincible!”

“But Patrick, didn’t you learn from last year?” Spongebob asked. “I dunno about all this. I don’t want to wind up nude in front of the girls again.”

“Spongebob, it’s just us over here. No one is going to see,” Patrick said. “And as long as you don’t run off again, no one will ever know.”

“I suppose you’re right,” Spongebob said. “It was fun last time, after all.”

“Good, now take a seat,” Patrick said, handing Spongebob a big hook.
