Marie was trying to be an optimist. Not easy given her predicament, but she was trying. So her panties were gone, lying uselessly on the ground who-knew-how-many feet down below her. So she only had a bra on. She'd have an easy time finding something to wear once she was inside and dry.
If nothing else, Marie took some solace in knowing that despite all that happened, it could have been worse.
"It's not like I'm na-"
Her breasts had risen quite swiftly into view as the soaked bra inched downward from Marie's chest, leaving them as plainly apparent as the rest of her. It wasn't a swimsuit. Little wonder that her bra could only sustain so much from a downpour before becoming unwearable.
"...ked... TO HELL WITH IT!" In a temperamental, childish, and somewhat unwise course of action, the infuriated brunette grabbed at the wet fabric and tore at it. The soaked material tore with ease, and Marie was still huffing in exertion moments after having torn it asunder and tossed the remaining cotton fragments off of the roof.
"Fine, I'm done caring! You hear me, nature!?" Marie threw her hands down and shouted at the sky and the downpour, venting her rage at no one in particular. "What can you do to me now!? I'm as naked as can be! Do your worst!"
The icing on the cake of immaturity was Marie sticking her tongue out at the sky before boldly striding away from the ladder towards the roof entrance to Junes.
She'd soon learn tempting fate wasn't wise. Because it could always get worse.
