Yukari charged out into the blinding rain. She didn’t recognize any of the buildings that she passed. She was pulled to a stop as she felt a tug at her arm. “Wait,” said Junpei, behind her. “Wait, it’s me. I mean, really me.”
Yukari’s eyes narrowed. “Prove it.”
“Look, I don’t have time to explain. When the shadow stopped possessing me, it fled. We have to find safety soon or we'll get surrounded. We need to wait for Misato’s instructions.”
Yukari sniffed. “Why should I listen to you?”
“Well for starters, you probably want to dry off, Junpei grinned.
Yukari looked at herself. Her maid outfit was completely soaked. Her stockings had started to slip down her legs under the weight of the water. The dress clung tightly to her skin and the bust was nearly transparent, leaving little to the imagination. She flushed.
“Fine,” she said. “But don’t think I trust you.”
The two made their way to an abandoned car, which appeared unlocked.
