Nightwing and Supergirl, part 3

“I’ll probably need to take a shower soon too” Kara comments. She leans against the doorway and her eyes quickly glance at Dick’s muscular abdomen then back up at the white eyes, hidden by the domino mask. She’s always had a slight crush on him. Then again, so do most girls. What’s not to like? He’s funny, attractive, and genuinely good.

At the thought of scathing hot water cascading down her naked frame, Dick suddenly becomes blissfully aware of just how pretty she is...well, that might not be the right word. *Stunning* is more like it. Her golden blonde hair compliments her rosy cheeks perfectly and the tank top exposes *just* enough of her muscled midriff to turn Dick’s knees into jelly. In spite of this, he manages to keep his composure. He can’t just start hitting on new teammates...especially not when that teammate is Superman’s cousin. Besides, he and Kori had barely been broken up for two weeks now. It wouldn’t be right to come after her like that...but he’s definitely tempted. Any sign of his attraction would dissipate after a second as he regains his sense of professionalism with a hearty laugh. “Yeah, I can imagine that definitely helps...! I’m still stuck doing it the old fashioned way, so maybe I’m not *totally* pathetic. And hey, great minds think alike. Tempest gave me on hell of a thrashing in the sparing ring today. It’s the small things like hot showers that keep you sane in this business.”

Kara nods, “yeah...” Ironically, Kara starts to have the same type of thoughts Dick is having, but about him. His black suit doesn’t leave much to the imagination. It’s skin tight.

However, only just now is Kara noticing Dick’s own eyes on her. *Oh.* Kara blushes, which only furthers her own embarrassment. Surely he would notice her red cheeks.

Dick is able to act like nothing happened and move on, so he changes the subject. “I did the usual stuff, cat in tree. Etc.” she tells him, doing her best to regain her own composure.
