Vanessa does chores with an audience

Vanessa started doing the chores around the house, washing the cars, pulling out the weeds, mowing the lawn, etc as she was working, she noticed a bunch of people staring at her, whispering. She felt embarrassed. Why had she volunteered to be outside? She knew why, but still, in the moment it seemed like the right thing to do, but now she was embarrassed and she had no one to blame but herself.

She heard someone mutter. “Look at the slut work. I’ve heard she’s made out of plastic.”

“She’s like a barbie doll. Look you can even see her surgery scars, a bit.”

“So Vanessa is a fake bitch?”

Vanessa felt like she was going to cry, but held it together. She had to do this. She couldn’t let Michelle win. She really needed to figure out a way to take Michelle down, one way or another.

Suddenly, as she had her back to the driveway while cleaning the windows, she heard a car pull up and a door slam.

Vanessa froze, unsure of who was standing behind her.
