John briskly walked to the bus stop. As usual, no one else was there, so he immediately took the opportunity and banged his head against it. ’Why? How the fuck can I be more awkward?’

As he opened his eyes he jumped, startled by a window.

John blinked. He knew both locations, the first was the forest he’d visited yesterday and the second the part of town his house was in. He had to resist the urge to tap on the Forest point; he didn’t know if it would cost mana or if it would take time or even if it had a cooldown and he didn’t want to miss the bus. ’Just put a pin in it, John. You can test that out when you have a spare minute.’

Before the bus arrived he took out his other phone and sent a text to Vanessa, ignoring her previous ones that were sent in an attempt to get his attention.

< J: Not going to happen, today will be a fun day - G >

< J: and don’t forget you have a tutoring lesson with that nerdy kid after school - G >

The bus came, and John walked to the back, getting tripped by Frank again. “You should watch where you are walking, NEWMAN. You could have hurt my leg with your carelessness,” Frank spat. John sighed and took his seat behind them.

To his surprise, Vanessa turned around and looked directly at him. “After school, you had better make your way straight to my house, the maid will let you in. Go up the stairs and follow the left hallway to the end. Don’t get sidetracked,” she ordered.

John turned on the edging mode for Vanessa’s toy and spoke back in a monotone, “Sure thing, Vanessa. I don’t have a car, though, so it might take a little while to get there.”

“J-Just get there quickly…” Vanessa spun back around.

“What’s all that about? What were you talking to the nerd for?” Frank asked.

“Shut the fuck up, Frank. If it was any of your business, I’d tell you,” Vanessa spat at him.

The rest of the ride to school was uneventful and John rushed off the bus before Frank had any time to mess with him.

His first class was literature, a perfect lesson to take a look at the items he’d received from the avalanche of achievements he’d gotten.

After class started he clicked the first new item in the knapsack.

This potion grows or shrinks your sexual organs to match the target's ideal size. It also causes your body to scale with your genital size to avoid any complications (such as loss of consciousness due to lack of blood flow to the brain).

Looking at all the items he’d gotten took John all of… 10 minutes of the lesson. He then opened up his character sheet for the first time in a while.

John looked over his sheet, seeing not much had changed, but paused when he saw his inventory counter. ’Wait… I have 17 out of 24 now, I put all my achievement rewards in the knapsack, but they were in my inventory, plus I had all of Ellie’s stuff, too… How? That would have easily broken my inventory limit,’ John thought to himself. Before jumping at the sudden text box that appeared in his vision.

[Complaining? Really!? Maybe next time I’ll just toss your rewards on the ground instead.]

John grimaced as he stared at the text box. ’Okay, I get it, I’m sorry. Thank you,’ he thought.

[That’s what I like to hear, I might help you out a little next time, I guess… hmmm, in fact, I think I’m going to change some of the inventory system a little bit.]

’Oh cool, how is it going to get changed?’ John thought. He waited for a response, but after 5 minutes realised she was done talking to him which caused him to sigh. ’Pretty sure that’s the most she’s talked to me…’

For the rest of his lesson, John decided to actually focus on schoolwork, he was bound to get behind if he didn’t at least pay some attention. The bell rang, and he packed everything up, ready to move to his next lesson.
