Chapter 24 by Control Freak Control Freak

Where does Starfire take him?

Into the Woods

As we gained altitude and the warehouse rapidly grew smaller behind us, I looked up at Starfire and asked, "Where are you taking me?"

"I will be taking you to the hotel Dick and I are staying at," Starfire explained, "It is far enough away from the battle that you should be safe for the moment."

"'For the moment'?"

Starfire nodded, "We do not know yet if Metallo is working alone. If he is not, or if he gets away, you may need to be taken to a safe house until the danger has passed."

Not sure what to say in response, I looked down at my feet... only to dart my eyes right back up as I realized how much of a mistake looking down was while I was so high up. It also hit me about this time just how fast we were going, though admittedly I think Supergirl flew faster whenever she carried me. Still, this flight felt more perilous to me, maybe because of the somewhat awkward way I was being held; with Starfire's arms around my chest and my legs dangling freely below, it was almost like riding on a roller-coaster. Well, except for not going up and down, instead going forward in a straight line at a constant speed. And that I was much higher up in the air than even the tallest roller-coaster would take me. And there was the ever constant threat that a supervillain might chase us down or shoot us out of the sky.

Okay, so maybe the roller-coaster analogy was a bad one. But thinking on that was my futile attempt to stop myself from worrying about Kara, and to a lesser extent Nightwing. Up to this point I had always seen her as an invulnerable savior, and despite the dangerous situations she threw herself into I never worried about her getting hurt, or worse not making it back alive. But after seeing what the kryptonite did to her, after hearing her scream in absolute agony... I was scared for her. For the first time, I was starting to worry I might never see her again, and there was no way for me to help make sure she came home tonight other than staying away from her.

So yeah, I was doing whatever I could to not think about that. Hence why I ended up noticing that Starfire had not changed her direction at all since we left the warehouse, and that the cityscape below us was rapidly starting to give way to scattered suburbs and wilderness.

"Um, Starfire?" I said, "Where are we going again?"

Starfire didn't respond. Looking up at her again, I saw that she had a glazed look in her emerald eyes, almost as if she as flying in a trace.

"Starfire?" I repeated. Then a bit louder, "Starfire!"

The alien girl blinked, then looked down at me, "Huh? Sorry, my mind was... elsewhere. What is it?"

"Why are we flying out of the city?" I asked her.

Starfire looked confused, "What do you mean? We are not... oh. We are flying out of the city."

"...Are you okay?" I asked, "You seem kind of out of it."

"I... I think so," she responded hesitantly. After a minute, she asked, "Do you mind if I make a landing here? Just for a few minutes. I am feeling... um... what is the phrase for when you are dizzy and it feels like your head has air inside it?"

"Lightheaded?"

"Yes, that. I am having the lightheadedness."

"Okay, yeah, you probably shouldn't be flying then. Go ahead."

"Thank you, Charlie." And with that, we rapidly began descending.

By now, we were flying above a forested area a good ways out of the city proper, so as we got lower we were starting to approach treetops. Thankfully despite her impaired state Starfire was skilled enough to weave her way through the trees and into a small moonlit clearing without running into anything. The moment my feet touched the ground she let me go and kept flying, and after getting my footing I turned around to find her leaning with her back against a tree, her hand on her head.

"What's wrong?" I asked, making my way over to her.

"I... I do not know," Starfire said, "I feel... um... er... harr..."

It was pretty dark in the woods, but even with only the sparse moonlight to see by I could tell Starfire was visibly struggling to speak.

"Starfire, look at me," I said, pulling my phone out of my pocket. When her eyes met mine, I turned on my phone's flashlight and shined it in her eyes. Despite the green-on-green color of her eyes, I could see her pupils contracting a little bit. Not as much as I expected though, which had me a bit worried.

"Do you remember if you got hit on the head during the fight?" I asked her.

She shook her head, "No, I was not hit at all... oh, do you think I have the concussion?"

"Maybe," I admitted, "Could it have been coming in through the window?"

"A crash through a window would not have hurt me," she explained, "Tamaranians have the... the... indurability? No, that is not right... involuntary..."

"Invulnerability?" I guessed.

"Yes! That!" Starfire said, "I am sorry, Charlie... I am usually much better with the English. But for some reason I am having a hard time focusing right now."

"I noticed." I started to reach forward, then stopped, "Uh, is it okay if I feel your head a bit? Just to make sure you aren't bleeding or anything."

Starfire nodded, and so I started to run my hand through her hair. It felt warm, and silky smooth as I ran my hand through it, and I had to **** myself to focus on feeling her scalp for anything odd. Then I realized that even if I did feel something odd, unless it was bleeding I wouldn't have any clue whether it was a head injury or a normal thing for Tamaranians to have on their head. Come to think of it, maybe the 'check the eyes' test didn't work on her species either.

Before I could ask her anything about Tamaranian biology, I heard a low purring sound. Looking at Starfire's face, I saw that her eyes were closed and she had a content, almost giddy smile on her face. If I wasn't seriously concerned she had a head injury, I'd probably have found it downright adorable.

"Star... hey, Starfire!"

Her eyes popped open, and she tilted her head slightly, "Are you done already? Did you find anything?"

"Uh, no. But you were, um... purring."

Her cheeks flushed a darker shade of orange, "Oh... I am sorry. Your stroking of my hair just felt... nice. Very nice."

I was starting to get a sinking feeling in my stomach. The way she said that, with a small breathy shudder, was disturbingly familiar to me at this point.

"Uh, maybe I should give you some space," I said, quickly backing away from her. When I did, she let out a little whimper and followed me.

"Did I do something wrong?" Starfire innocently asked.

"Yes- No! I don't know," I answered.

Starfire frowned, "You do not look well, Charlie. Perhaps it is you that got hit on the head."

"I-I'm fine, really..."

Starfire ran her hand through my hair, her eyes looking into mine. At first she seemed to be actually looking for injuries, but pretty soon she was just stroking my hair, the glazed look from when she was flying returning to her face.

"You know, out here in the moonlight, you look very attractive," she said.

Oh no. No no no no no... as much as I didn't want to believe it, I knew I was about to happen.

Before I could say anything, Starfire pulled me into a deep, sensual kiss. At this point I knew better than to actually try to push her off of me, very aware that it would be a futile effort. Still, I put my hands on her shoulders and squeezed slightly, but didn't return the fiery passion of her kiss.

Surprisingly, Starfire seemed to pick up on my nonverbal signal and pull back, looking back at me in abject shock. She started rapidly speaking in what I assume was Tamaranian, but thankfully realized pretty quickly that I couldn't understand a word of what she was saying. She took a deep breath and started over, slowly saying, "I am sorry... I do not know why I did that. I am just feeling so... um... aroused. By you."

"I could tell," I said.

"I promise you Charlie, I am not a grimplork," Starfire assured me, "I have never done the cheating on Dick Grayson, and I can tell you are equally devoted to Kara. Please forgive me."

"It's... it's okay," I said to her, "It was just a kiss... We can just pretend it didn't happen."

"I... I do not think it will be that simple, Charlie," Starfire admitted.

"Of course it won't..." I quietly muttered to myself.

"I am feeling very attracted to you," she said, "Since we landed, I cannot help but imagine what it would be like if the two of us had the sex. It is getting harder for me to focus on anything else. As much as I love Dick Grayson, if you were to touch me again, or make it clear that you would want it, I would not hesitate to strip down and ride you like a Snervian blork worm."

"Well that's a problem, since I kind of need you to carry me out of here," I said.

"Yes... yes you do," Starfire said, her voice trailing off as she got lost in thought. After a brief moment she shook her head and stepped back, "I... I have an idea. If I can get rid of my arousal, then maybe my head will clear and I can fly you back to the city without anything happening."

"Okay..." I said warily, "How do you plan on doing that?"

"Through vorrlim, of course."

Before I could ask what that meant, she unbuttoned her cutoffs and yanked them down, revealing her soaking wet pussy. Not seeming to care that I was watching her, she leaned her back against a tree, sat down, spread her legs, and began furiously masturbating while looking directly at me.

I knew I should have looked away, but I just couldn't bring myself to do so. Partially out of shock that this was actually happening, and partially because this was just so freaking hot. Luckily for me, Starfire didn't seem to mind. In fact when she realized I was continuing to watch her she let out a tiny whimper and fingered herself faster.

"Charlie, I... mmm, I am sorry about this," she said between gasps, "I could not do the waiting any longer..."

"I-It's fine," I said, "Dick told me that your culture is... open, about this sort of thing."

"Actually, this would be... most offensive even on Tamaran," she said, "But I cannot stop myself now. You are... X'hal, I want you to blorknar me until I yoortal..."

She continued talking, but at this point I completely lost track of what she was trying to say. Despite the language barrier though, it was pretty clear from how excited she was getting that she was describing a sex fantasy of some kind. Against the backdrop of nighttime insects and the squelching of her pussy, Starfire continued jabbering on while I watched in stunned silence, trying desperately to figure out how this could possibly happen to me a third time.

After a couple minutes of this, she bit her lip, closed her eyes, and shuddered. With a whimper, her hips bucked, and she clenched her legs together as she came right in front of me.

For several long moments we were both dead silent, neither of us moving from our spots. Finally, hesitantly, I broke the silence to ask her, "So, uh... do you feel any better?"

Did Starfire's plan work?
