Chapter 2 by battleoide

Where will you go?

Nowhere, you wake up on the floor of your bedroom

You wake up with an ear-splitting headache to the incessant ringing of your alarm clock . Groggily, you reach for the snooze button but swipe at the open air beside you.

You are not, as you assumed, in your bed; instead, you find yourself sprawled out beside it on the carpeted floor of your bedroom.

The last thing you can clearly remember is carrying an antique lamp you found up into your bedroom. Looking about the room, you see the broken remains of the lamp on the floor near by; the sight of the shattered glass sends a sharp pain through your temple making you wince. And still, through the throbbing of your head, your alarm clock rings; you just wish it would stop making that racket...

And then, as the thought crosses your mind, it does just that!

Grateful for the reprieve, you flop onto your back to lay a minute longer and stare at the ceiling in silence. Now, if only your headache could go away.

Eventually, you manage to pick your self off the floor. Inspecting yourself in your full length mirror, you search for any bumps or bruises; you see the reflection of a painfully average teenager still dressed in yesterday's clothes, but no evidence of a concussion in the mirror.

What's next?
