Phase 3: A confrontation with Promethia, the Deliverer boss

From what you'd seen so far and the legends you heard, the Goodbye Girls had nothing to fear from terrorists, even facing down a giant one like this, easily 6'5", armed with a pair of flamethrowers attached to some sort of high-tech jet-pack (that didn't even match the description of the "super weapon" you were here to find). You, on the other hand, were an accomplished CEDIT agent, but not the type of person that people made movies about. You could definitely be killed if blasted by two enormous jets of flames. That thought reverberated in your head as the huge enemy looked back and forth between the inhabitants of the room. "They sent the Goodbye Girls this time... Plus one boy, even. And here I thought they would underestimate me again."

"Sorry, you Deliverers don't tend to make the list that often. Burning stuff when other people are threatening to knock out health-care nation wide with EMP attacks or level half the coast with atomic bombs? If there was a tier list for villainy, you guys would be a solid C. That said, I appreciate your dedication to themeing. You fit right in with FireMan, HeatMan, FlameMan-" Despedida rattled off obscure video game reference after video game reference, until the other woman's sharp bark finally cut her off.

"Enough!"

"...BurnerMan..."

The Deliverer boss flared one of her guns angrily, then held both forward, approaching the three of you slowly. "You talk awfully big for an agency ill-equipped to handle the threat we pose. You laugh about your ignorance, while we take advantage of it across the globe, digging our roots deeper and expanding our operations. While you all focused on the 'big fish,' I- Promethia- and other leaders within the Deliverers have assembled an army... and even if you could stop us here, we're fully capable of executing a massacre spanning countless cities across the globe. The Message of Fire... That is the set of guidelines we Deliverers follow. It's the only text available in this corrupt civilization that any of you need to concern yourself with. It will be my pleasure to burn all of the others. You dogs..."

It seemed that super-villains sure could ramble when they thought they had guns up against unarmed opponents. You tuned out for a while and instead focused on what your plan ought to be. You had one big advantage here... Even Promethia seemed to recognize that you weren't a real Goodbye Girl, which meant she was taking you lightly. Her flamethrowers would allow her to coat the whole room in fire very quickly, but even still, they only had two heads. If you used your head, there might be something available that would let you neutralize that weapon of hers.

You sensed the others had picked up on this as well. While Promethia rattled on about her Message of Fire, the others engaged her with further steely eyes, avoiding quips for once so as not to taunt her into action. At the same time, they avoided making eye contact with you, so as not to remind the enemy of your presence. Like this, you ought to be able to approach and do... whatever you could... to take down the Deliverer boss.

"... The death I offer is not a swift one. It is cruel and agonizing. It is everything this corrupt world deserves..." From this distance, you could vaguely make out the shape of one mad eye behind the yellow rectangle of Promethia's suit's visor. "You Goodbye Girls are no exception. Tools of CEDIT... I see the sins in all of you. Thinking about your corruption makes my skin crawl. It will be my distinct pleasure to reduce you into smoldering piles of ash...!"

... You wondered if Promethia knew something you didn't about the girls. It might be a lead worth following up on in the future, but it wasn't something you could afford to focus on now. Right now, you needed to intervene and stop the enemy! Was there anything left in your bag of secret agent tricks that would neutralize the threat?
