In this world, Anthros and humans were seen as equal. Prey species gained equal rights to the more abundant humans and more dominant predators in the 60s and 70s. Before that Prey were considered only just above non-intelligent animals. Humans being omnivores use to sit in the middle class between full predators and prey Anthros along with other omnivores before equal rights were introduced. All non-predators had been consumed as meat for centauries with Omnivores being consumed only after their natural death. Until equal rights, only Carnivore bodies were berried give back to the earth so that prey can eat. Now only those who donated their bodies were turned into meat once they died. Most prey and some omnivores saw it as a tradition to donate their bodies whereas others wanted to use their newfound right to burial.
