Byleth offers to clean up her dress.

Knowing that he had to do something to help Marianne, Byleth decided to help her by offering to clean up her dress with a napkin, after all, it was just some minor stains, it couldn't be that hard.

"Sorry, but can i help to clean you dress ?", Byleth said to her as he grabbed a clean napkin from the table.

"T-Thanks...", replied Marianne in a shyly tone, for while she appreaciated his help, she still felt somewhat uncomfortable with someone being so close to her, still, she had to accept his help out of courtesy.

"Ok then", Byleth replied back, and so, with a napkin in his hand, he got closer to her, upon which, he began to clean up the many stains of hot tea in her dress, always making sure not to touch her in a uncomfortable way for her.

Marianne meawhile didn't knew what to make sense of the situation, the dress was expensive and delicate, and the stains were relatively minor, she could just cleaned herself just fine, yet, for the first time, she felt that she could trust someone with such a delicate task, and she was gratefull of that...., at least until she felt the tea stain getting bigger as it touched her skin.

"Sorry, i don't really know how to properly clean up a dress", Byleth admited, for in his try to help her, he accidentaly made the tea stain bigger after scrubbing it with the napkin. "I guess you can clean it yourself", he said.

"oh, d-don't worry, just continue, it's just a small mistake like you said", Marianne replied nervous again, for despite this setback she still wanted to trust him.

And so, with her approval, Byleth continued trying to clean up her dress with the napkin, more carefully this time, besides, it's not like he could make things worse than they already are, right ?
