He somehow manages to make the situation even worse.

And so, with Marianne's approval, Byleth continued on in trying to clean her dress with the napkin, this time, much carefully than the last time, lest he make the stain bigger. However, despite the previous setback, he was still confident in that he could solve the situation easily, after all, it just a tea stain, what could go wrong this time ?...

Well..., everything, for you see, in his vain attempt to help her, Byleth accidentaly made the tea stain bigger again, even moreso than the last time, how ?, you may ask, well...

"Alright, let's do this", Byleth said for himself as he began to scrub the stain again.

"Are you doing it fine ?...", Marianne asked.

"I guess so, this stain is gone!", Byleth replied as he cleaned a stain.

"I think i can feel the liquid in my legs, it's filtering", Marianne commented shivering.

"Don't worry, i can clean that too", Byleth offered to her, upon which, he slowly lifted her dress to clean in the inside.

It was at this point however, that Marianne decided that it was enough, for it was one thing for him to clean her dress on the outside, but it was another for him to do that, for she didn't want him to put his nose on things he didn't need to see.

She tried to object to his offer, but didn't have the exact words in her mind to say it. And by the time she did, he was already trying to clean her dress in the inside, having confused her head movements for a yes.

"I will be quick, i promise", Byleth said as he began to clean her legs with the napkin. But as soon as the napkin touched the bare part of her legs, Marianne seriously freaked out, and in a fit of nervousness, she hit him in the head with her knee.

Unfortunately for the both of them however, Byleth happened to be below the table when this happened, and so, following the impact, he struck the table from below, making a huge mess in the scene as food and tea were spilled everywhere. And worse of all, most of it ended up in Marianne's dress, ruining it, and leaving her almost completely drenched in tea and cake.

An unfortunate incident, of course, but surely Marianne and Byleth will somehow figure this out.
