As part of one of Monokuma's tricks.

Ever since Kaede and the rest of class 78 had been confined to the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles at the whims of the robotic black and white bear known as Monokuma, she has been working hard to be the best leader she possibly could, to hopefully lead them to their freedom. And despite Monokuma's continuous orders to kill, thus far they have all refused, no thanks to her efforts to motivate everyone to not give up.

Yet, this obviously did not endear Monokuma, for all he wanted was for the Killing game to begin, and now they don't want to kill each other just because of this girl, ridiculous.

And so, in his ever **** efforts to break them, Monokuma had offered the students all class of special perks and incentives in order to motivate them. A free kill opportunity, a love hotel, more ultimate labs, information about the mastermind, and more, they all failed to motivate them to ****.

If even the threat of killing them all didn't convince them to do it, what possibly could, he pondered.

And so, after thinking for a while, he came out with a brilliant plan, rather than offering rewards for them to kill, he could push them to do it by imposing penalties on them for refusing to comply. That way, **** would seem the better option in comparison.

With all that said and done, Monokuma began to prepare tomorrow's incentive, one that surely will be quite a shock to them.
