I let her beg a little longer

“I might be taking this to far,” I think to myself, “but if she really is that **** I bet she’ll go even further.”

“I’m sorry but I don’t help criminals and I certainly don’t let them into my house. For all I know this could be an elaborate trick and if I let you in…”

“Oh please no, don’t turn me away. I swear to you I’m not lying and I’ll do anything for you if you let me in. Give me a warm place to sleep tonight and I’ll do whatever you want in the morning. I’ll work off my debt however you want me to. I’ll do housework for you; I’ll teach you how to be a villain and I’ll be your loyal henchman; I’ll commit crimes for you; I’ll use my curses to win you the heart of whatever woman you want. Guys like Starfire, right? I could steal her away from Robin for you. What ever you want just please I don’t want to die like this.”

That was far enough.

I leaned down, took her by the arm, and lifted her back onto her feet. As I lifted her up I couldn’t help back look into those big, pink doleful eyes staring at me.

“Here,” I tell her with a smile as I hand her my cup of hot chocolate, “This should warm you up a little. Come with me inside now, I’ll find you somewhere warm to stay.”

“Thank you.” Jinx says meekly.

I led Jinx over to the fire I had started earlier in the living room and found a large, fluffy blanket folded up in the corner.

“Here,” I say authoritatively as I hand her the blanket, “take off those wet rags. You can wrap yourself up with this and sit near the fire to warm up.”

For a moment Jinx looks at me hesitantly but then decides to do as I told her and slowly removes her black and pink costume. As soon as her last bit of clothing was removed she snatched the blanket from my outstretched hand and wrapped herself up in it, her face covered in an expression of embarrassment from stripping in front of a stranger.

“Don’t take this the wrong way,” I say as I walk from the living room into the kitchen, “but you’re actually a lot prettier in person then I imagined.”

“Oh, you really think so?” Jinx said, sounding a little surprised.

“Yes. You sound surprised. Hasn’t anyone ever told you that you how beautiful you are before?”

“No actually. I guess when you’re a villain people don’t tend to compliment you very much. To be honest, having spent so much time fighting Starfire and Raven or even Terra and comparing myself to them and how much attention they got I assumed people saw me as… well… kind of ugly.”

“I don’t know how other people see you but in my eyes you’re far more attractive then Starfire, Raven, Terra, or any of them could hope to be.”

“Do you really mean that?”

“Yes, I do.” I tell her as I turn around and stumble backwards, realizing she had snuck up right behind me.

“I’m sorry, did I scare you?”

“A little. I decided I would get you some food but I figured you would have stayed near the fire.”

“Don’t change the subject. Tell me the truth, do you really think I’m beautiful? You don’t have to lie to me. You rescued me from certain **** so I’ll let you fuck me either way if that’s all you want….”

“I really do think you’re beautiful and not just because I caught a glimpse of you naked a moment ago. You’re a very pretty girl and given the choice I’d rather be near you then any other girl I’ve ever seen or met.”

After I told Jinx this it almost seemed like she was going to cry.

“From the first second I saw you when you opened the door I thought you were the most handsome man I’d ever seen…”

“I got some fruit at the store earlier. Why don’t we go sit by the fire and we can talk as I warm you up and put a little food in you.”

Jinx smiles softly as I suggest this and moves towards me and wraps her blanket around both of us. I place my arm around her waist and head back towards the living room.
