What's next?

The next day

Zam Wesell, feared bounty hunter, looked at a small plexiglass box. Inside the fist-sized clear cube she could see a dozen tiny creatures roughly cylindrical in shape, steadily crawling around on lots of tiny legs and looking for a way out.

"Don't worry," she told them soothingly, "I've got a nice meal for you soon."

Half an hour later, Padme strode up to a platform, surrounded by holonet cameras and reporters for all the major broadcasters. She plastered a smile across her face, glancing around for any of the Trade Federation who might try and embarrass her again. Looked all clear.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen." Padme spoke into a microphone set up on a stand. She winced at a squeal of feedback, and waited for it to subside. She tried again. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming to hear me today. The Trade Federation have been putting out a lot of misinformation about their recent blockade of my home planet, and I wanted to counteract that with the truth..."

As Padme continued speaking, one of the reporters was slipping through the crowd. The female twi'lek lowered her camera, and carefully extracted a box from it. She reached the platform Padme stood on, opened the box and tipped it up on the train of Padme's flowing burgundy dress. The little creatures began to crawl up Padme's outfit, quiet chewing noises coming from their tiny mouths, leaving ragged gaps leading up the dress.

The twi'lek stepped away from the platform, out of the crowd, and transformed into the smiling form of Zam Wesell.
