He was transformed into a female Twili imp, like Midna had been.

A pool of dark, magical energy swirled around Link's feet, inside the circle. He stared down at it in shock and anticipation, and before he understood what was happening it slithered up his legs and engulfed his entire body. The next few seconds reminded him strongly of when he was able to transform into a wolf. As his body shrunk and shifted, morphing into a new shape, he realized quickly that, whatever it was he was turning into, it was smaller than a wolf and had no fur to speak of. Once the darkness abated, Link looked up at the Princess, and immediately realized how odd it was. Princess Zelda towered over him, standing at least three times his height, if not more. Then Link looked down at himself, which wasn't a very great idea. His new form was familiar, in a fashion. His small, pert breasts; his incredibly wide hips and large butt; his black and grey mottled skin tone. It was Midna's cursed imp form, top to bottom.

The princess looked very surprised, and quickly broke the circle and rushed over to Link, kneeling down to look him in the eyes. "Link, are you okay?"

Link rested his hands on his new, larger hips and told her that it depended greatly on one's definition of 'okay'.

She sighed in relief, then frowned. "It will take some time to try and find a counterspell ritual for this, and even longer to get the right components. In the meantime, I suppose you're suspended from active duty in the guard. We'll just tell everyone that you're very ill, I suppose. We can't let you be seen, so I'll personally prepare you a living quarters right next door to my room. We're going to have to play this very close-to-the-chest, Link, understand?"

Even though it annoyed him, Link nodded.
