Turn the tables on Ganondorf.

It wasn't hard to lure Ganondorf out into the open from his massive castle. After confirming with Rauru that he was definitely still searching for Zelda, they spread rumors of a sighting of Zelda in the ruins of Castle Town, in a certain wrecked building. There they waited, silently, patiently, and in time they heard the footsteps of someone approaching. Sure enough, Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo and of Thieves entered the house, his tall frame requiring him to bend lower to enter. Once inside, he started to look around, but before he could do more Link stepped from out of his hiding place and walked towards the evil king. He looked at Link, irritation showing on his sharp face. "What are you doing here?"

Link had prepared a story. As he inched closer to him, he told Ganondorf, "I was the one who delivered to report, my king. I had been scavenging in the area, and caught sight of the princess you're after."

That seemed to ease any doubts Ganondorf had, and his cruel smile told all. "Good. Do you have any more information for your king?" Link approached him, bowed, then before Ganondorf could react leapt up and touched his hand.
