The mask makes peoples see him as a Gerudo.

Hesitantly, Link lifted the wooden mask up to his face and felt a slight tingling sensation all over his body as it made contact. He stood there, looking out of the eye-holes of the mask, and he didn't feel anything different. Still curious, he left the graveyard to return to the village proper, and immediately ran into a young boy playing. The boy looked up at him and said, "Hey there, miss! I haven't seen you around before! Are you new in town?" Link actually did know this kid, and was surprised that he didn't recognize him because of a mask. Then he noticed the looks some of the carpenter boys working on a house were giving him from across the street, and that the kid had called him 'miss'. It looked like everyone saw him as if he was a Gerudo thief...just what he needed! With this, sneaking into the fortress would be easy! But how long did the magic work for? Should he try experimenting with it here in the village for a while before entering the fortress? Or should he get Sheik's opinion on the enchantment?
