North to the highway.

After getting my bearing and deciding to go north to the highway, I continue my way through the dark forest. I feel really tired, even though in my mind I am sure I can get farther with my stamina. Also, I do notice that going up and down hilly part of the forest takes a bigger toll on my body, which is unusual since I used to free run in my spare time and big falls never hurt me.

I run to a job but once I do, I feel like the one following me through the brush is getting closer. I try to ignore it and focus on the destination towards the highway. A minute passes when I see lights shine from behind a tree and speed past from left to right. I finally make it to highway and climb over its rather high guardrail.

The highway looks the same as the one running parallel to it. The one that my car was parked on. The darkness of the night and the eerie shadows of the tall trees shroud the road in black. Like the first, this highway has one lane going one way and another going the opposite way. From this point on I can follow the road east or west, or continue north through more forest.
