His long lost sister. The girl in rags was his sister. Bran stepped in front of her. He was ready to shout her name when he noticed something very strange. She was looking straight past him as if she didn't recognize his existence.

Her face was all dirty, many scratches adorned her shoulders, and her bare feet, although still delicate, looked even worse. He then noticed something very wrong with her eyes.

They were a milky white, her pupils that were previously a vibrant black and blue were shrouded in a mist that turned those pretty colours a shade of grey. It had finally dawned on him that the girl in front of him was blind.

The shocking discovery kept him paralyzed. His sister seemed to notice his presence and raised the little bowl she was holding in front of him, as if asking for a bit of pity in form of some coins.
