Creating an illusion barrier?
Angelo's first time
Angelo was quite excited about using this ability for the first time, but figured being at Jack in the box would be a bad place to use it. He thought about where he could go, hmm, based solely on his past experience with the insides of an illusion barrier, they looked similar to wherever they had been placed, if not exactly the same. The real question was this a flaw or simply the default setting? That question's answer would have to wait, he wasn't in a safe place to simply test his theory. There were a few places that he noticed while walking home, a small wooded area, a few abandoned buildings, and a wide clearing. The wooded area would likely be the easiest to avoid being spotted, but those abandoned buildings offered better line of sight and better options for scouting ahead without being spotted. If the surroundings were exactly the same, even if only structurally those buildings would be the safest bet.
He sighed softly, thinking he should have asked Erin about this when she was with him, but his mind had been on other things at that moment. Being around her and those beautiful D cups were just too distracting. Not that he didn't like the view. He caught himself smirking before shaking his head. Focus! He mentally scolded himself. He walked over towards those abandoned buildings, they were fairly simple, six store spaces were currently set up for this strip mall. It was lacking active stores to bring in business. He could see a larger event center across the street, it had a large enough parking lot too, it looked like they could hold thirty cars or so for the event center and maybe forty for the strip mall. He made his way to the side of the strip mall and made sure to look around before using Create Illusion barrier lvl 1, a window appeared in front of him with several lines available. Empty, trap, or monster. He looked over the empty section and found he could change the time flow from 1 minute here to 5 minutes there, so a simple 1 to 5 ratio. -10 Mp Just using the ability cost him mana, that was important to know. He spent several minutes finding out he could change the environment within a trap barrier to several interesting options: swamp, forest, desert, or rigged. Rigged? He checked under more details to discover that it would be filled with hidden pitfalls and literal traps. Those traps could be triggered by anyone however, so it would risky to use at best.
Angelo liked having the option to make it a private barrier or public one, it wouldn't be good to have someone run into him while he was training. Last, but not least he looked over the monster option: boars, imp, kobold, goblin, elemental, or undead. He looked over those options carefully, he wanted to try something easy so anything with a real brain was out, so no kobolds, goblins, elementals, or imps. Boars could work as would undead, but the undead usually held a lot of extra risks: disease, negative energy, infection, or corruption, just to name a few possibilities. Hmm, boars it is. He knew they had brains, but he knew they were less likely to attack in packs or try and swarm him, or at least this was so in the video games he had played.
He looked at the level setting, which was 3 to 5. Perfect, he was level 8, so this would be a good way to start. He would have preferred a challenge, but unlike a regular video game he only had one life. Well, one that he knew of. Hmm, it would be best to err on side of caution here. He adjusted the time ratio to max and set the environment to forest, private mode, and boars for the monsters. He let out a nervous breath and looked around again the time was 12:30 p.m. hitting the accept button seconds later. The world as he knew it shattered before him, little more than particles of dust before returning into a new shape. He looked around slowly, his back was against a huge fallen tree, he leaned out around the corner and saw the area had changed to a forested area with many small and medium sized boars wandering around. The abandon buildings had both turned into large fallen trees cut out into the shape of the buildings that had taken the place of, but beyond that were many trees, but before he could appreciate it all a new quest popped up.

Descent into the Abyss
Man or woman?
I am basing the world off of "The Gamer" by Sangyoung Seong. I wanted to shake it up and add more flexibility.
