Angelo used observe on the small boars and medium sized ones, the small ones were level 3 to 4 where as the medium ones were level 4 to 5.

Well, that was new, nature must be replacing relationship for monsters and creatures spawned by illusion barriers. With a flick of Angelo's wrist his stun baton extended to it's full 21" length. With his newly acquired strength he could one shot the level 3 boars without using a Focused Strike, but if he paired that with Impact of Motion, he could even one shot the level 5 boars. This could be rather exhausting, there were 30 boars to kill after all. He only needed Focused Strike against the medium boars, but it would still take 375 Mp. Sadly, he only had 243 Mp currently. On the other had if he rounded some of them up and used Alluring Spores he could kill up to 6 of them using only 75 Mp, 3 of those spores would be needed for each boar, but if he got them close enough that 1 ft radius would hit up to 3 of them. He could luck out and have them fight for him too. After coming up with that plan he got a notification that he couldn't ignore.

Huh, this would be helpful in an emergency, but he didn't need it now, he thought while putting it back into his inventory. He heard a loud squeal less than 10 feet from him, one of the medium sized boars had noticed him and began to charge. Fuck! He thought and tumbled to the side, luckily he was successful and landed back on his feet. The boat had smashed right into the fallen tree he was standing against, taking minor damage. 5 damage He gained a stack of Bio Adaptation. That had given him a start, he could feel his heart pounding, but used this moment to strike that boar twice while it tried to regain its bearings. 32 damage x 2 (64 damage), (9 Overkill), + 10 xp He let out a breath, but his eyes widened hearing several more loud squeals. Oh no, he thought, looking out from behind that tree to see if what he feared was true, damn it, every other medium boar was charging his way. That stack of Bio Adaptation ran out as he cast Alluring Spores. -75 Mp He was just in time to turn and run as fast as he could, keeping just inches ahead of that stampede of boars. Damage and experience points flew across his view, he could hear many loud squeals just inches behind him. -10 Hp, -9 Hp Gaining him two stacks of Bio Adaptation. He refreshed Alluring spores two more times after the previous one's spores were spent, which of course, was rather quick. -150 Mp He looked over his shoulder to see only two medium boars were left, they both had less than half their health left. He turned to stand his ground, slightly out of breath from the intense running. He felt a bite at his left leg and a slam on his right. -8 Hp, -7 Hp Gaining another two stacks of Bio Adaptation. He winced from the pain, but it wasn't as bad as before, he had forgotten that Bio Adaptation stacked up to 10, each stack giving 10% damage taken reduction. He swung his baton in an arch dealing 32 damage to each boar, killing them. He had gained 140 xp in total after that. A new exclamation flashed that he let pop up.

He took a moment to catch his breath as his stacks of Bio Adaptation ran out. This was quite the workout, but he was learning quite a lot about actual combat. Wait, what is that? He saw a rather huge boar roughly 200 feet in front of him. He was pretty sure of what it was, but he didn't like the idea of attacking without knowing for sure. He used observe on it, it failed, a message popped up letting him know he was out of range. He looked around for safe places to hide behind as he got closer to the beast. He used observe several more times, but it didn't work until he was roughly 120 feet away, hmm, for now at least 40 yards was his limit for using observe.

Oh, this can't be good. He could see a small cage with a woman inside, just behind the Queen boar. "Oh great, the king will show up after I kill the queen. I am sure of it." He muttered to himself. He was still missing a lot of mana, 220 at the moment and it would take about an hour to recover the rest. He could waste some time by killing some of those neutral boars, or at least checking to see if there had been anything to loot. He mulled that over for a moment, deciding on the latter first, those boars could be killed later and he would want one to still be alive before killing the queen and king for that optional bonus. He scanned the area before heading back from whence he came. He was surprised to find a small amount of money, some boars meat and tusks. He put them away, collecting $10.50 , five raw boar steaks, and 10 boar tusks. He wished he could just create a fire to cook that meat, he could at least recover his mana more quickly that way. Well, without wasting that snack from Gaia. He could try the old fashion way of making a fire, he might get lucky.

Angelo took some time to build a small camp sight, a circle of rocks to keep the fire from spreading and a log for himself to sit on, he set up several scraps of dry wood within the circle and some dry grass. He used observe on several stones around and luckily found one in the circle he had made for the fire. He used his baton to break it into two pieces before hitting those stones against one another, the sparks starting a small fire. A new exclamation flashed that he let pop up.

He was quite surprised to get a spell as convenient as that. Hmm, maybe if he tried to make a skewer, he could get a skill to help make a good one to properly hold that meat, making sure he didn't burn himself. He took out four tusks to practice on, using a nearby stone to break down one of the tusks to make a short sharp curved edge. He used that sharpened tusk to shorten a piece of wood into a hilt for his newly sharpened tusk. He sighed looking at the results after putting them together, but received two new flashing exclamations. He took a moment to look over the primitive boar tusk dagger he had made before letting those exclamations pop up.

This was more or less what he had wanted, but noticed he only needed 70 xp to level up. If he could get that, he wouldn't need to worry about this food anymore. He used observe on that dagger to see if it would be of any use.

He blinked then looked to his baton and used observe on it.

If one level in quality difference made that much of a difference, perhaps it would be worth it to try using craft on his new dagger. He used craft on that dagger. -5 Mp A list appeared in front of him with available options given the materials on hand.

Whoa, his eyes widened looking at the choices. He liked most of the options, but felt that scimitar was more his style. Each choice even had small displays of the finished product next to the description. He had to admit seeing those two curved daggers did look pretty sweet, however, being practical and effective was more important to him than looks. He wondered what would happen as he clicked accept on the first option, all the items in question started to melt, pooling into his hand before reforming into the beautiful Boar's Tusk Scimitar of Stunning. - 30 Mp, - $500, - 21" Expandable Stun Baton, and - Angelo's Curved Tusk Dagger A pop appeared asking if he wanted to rename it, he chose to rename it, "Angelo's Scimitar" it was simple and to the point. A new exclamation flashed. He took a moment to look over that pearly white blade, it was amazingly thin and sharp from what he could see. The metal from his baton had taken form as the hilt and guard of this blade, still a metallic black color, wow, this new blade couldn't have weighed more than ten pounds. He moved it slowly in his hand, enjoying the feel and weight distribution, but back to that exclamation, he thought, letting it pop up.

He saw his health and mana replenish as he leveled, gaining 5 more skill points. He took a bit of time to think over what he was lacking and kept coming back to more Wisdom, so that is where he put those 5 points. He smiled feeling like an actual adventurer from a video game, but first things first. He put that fire out before looking to where the Queen boar and her captive was. With his new blade in hand and new abilities, he knew what he had to do.
